White House Lies...Again

Just because you disagree with it doesn't make it a lie. These D-Baggers are just the same crowd that has been pissed off and melting down since the election.

Well, the election did put a buffoon in the White House.

This time about the protests at the Congressional Town Halls.

Check out his whopper.

Two lies in one.

Tea Party was about as organic as GMO soybeans. And, the fury facing the GOP today is not a "very paid, Astroturf-type movement."

He sounds like Nazi Pelosi and Robert Gibbs did back in 2009 (calling the Tea Party "astroturf").

What is with these people (Trump's people, the whiners on the left) making **** up all the time? It's like they're born victims or something, so they have to tell whoppers to justify their victimhood.

This is the president's mouthpiece basically telling American citizens to sit down and shut up. It's a travesty. And I don't intend that as a defense of Pelosi -- I remember the "astroturf" allegations. It was meaningless hand-waving then, and it's meaningless hand-waving now.

Bottom line, though, Trump is a piece of filth.

wtf? That's an 8-year-old article

Yes. I didn't really expect that I was going to have to teach people the ABC's. Eight years ago Obama faced angry town halls over Obamacare and now Trump is facing angry town halls over health care. My point is, so what? The right organized loud mouthers eight years ago at Democratic town halls and now the left is organizing loud mouthers at Republican town halls. No difference.

Then we're basically in agreement here. I hope to see more liberals challenging their elected officials to represent their interests.

I think it would be rather naive to assume there's not some organization behind the town hall protests. Certainly I don't believe all people are paid shills, but I don't think anyone believes it is 100% organic either.

On the same note, the idea the Tea Party protests were completely organic is just as naive as assuming the ones these days are organic. Both sides working from the same playbook.

What I don't understand is why these Congress people are still doing these town halls. Are they doing it just so they can get their name in the news? I don't understand their motivation.
There has to be some organization. People just don't randomly show up all with the same message and almost identical signs.

I question the paid part, though. If you're going to believe that, or claim it, it's up to you to prove it.

Whatever. Perhaps you might educate yourself on the difference between a lie and an opinion before you refer to others as buffoons.

You are obviously too young to remember the White House and democratic response to the Tea Party.

Contraire. I remember it quite well. The WH (Robert Gibbs) complained then, just like the WH (Sean Spicer) is doing now.

Why don't they wait and see what changes are actually proposed to Obamacare before blowing a gasket?

Maybe, because after hearing about "repeal, replace" for SEVEN years, they are tired of waiting..................:)

There is one difference. The Tea Party was going to these town halls trying to get democrats to oppose legislation. These angry D-Baggers are just angry. They are rebels in search of a cause. Out of one side of their mouths, the left mocks republicans for not having a plan, out of the other side of their mouths they shriek and wail about a republican replacement for Obamacare. They would have far more credibility if they would wait to see what was proposed before losing their minds. They might actually like the changes, but their anger will never permit them to admit it.

So they want the plan sped up? That's not what I hear them screaming about.

We just need to be clear here that the media is falsely misrepresenting these town hall meetings as being some general consensus against Trump and the Republicans when it is really a liberal consensus against Trump.

Lemme guess, you were just about to denounce the hypocrisy of left wing liberals weren't you.

Exactly. These are angry liberal voters who cant stand that Hillary lost and will be showing up to protest everything Trump does. It childishness more than anything else. NOt sure what they are pissed at congress for, they haven't done anything yet. These fringe loons see themselves as a resistance movement and they plan to resist everything he does whether they agree with it or not. It will burn out. NO one can maintain that level of anger, hatred and irrationality indefinitely.

I don't think they will like the changes though. No nationalized health insurance. No minimum coverages. Women might pay more than men and the older might pay more than the younger. Pre-existing conditions will probably wind up in high risk pools. Other than that, the insurance itself will probably be cheaper and there will be tax credits instead of subsidies. As with any change, there will be winners and losers and the left will play up the losers as much as they can.

Exactly. Typical political hypocrisy from both sides. Rev. Wright says: "God Damn America" in a radical sermon and the "religious right" goes ballistic and wants Obama 's head on a platter.
Two terms later, Trump brags about sexual abuse of women and it is "miraculously okay". The "right" loses credibility every day that Trump is in office and they defend his lying.
Can you imagine what the Conservative Right-Wing "phonies" would have done if Trump had ran as a Democrat? They would have labelled him as the "devil" and trashed him at every opportunity.

No doubt about it. Personally I think the nonsense going on in town halls has been launched by
Barack Obama returning to his community organizing days. He was such a poor excuse for a
president but give him his due, as a community organizier he's a top notcher. Organizing leftwing
protests at these Republican town halls is a unique idea, leave it to him to come up with it.

Whatever. Perhaps you might educate yourself on the difference between a lie and an opinion before you refer to others as buffoons.

Let's see:
Largest inaugural crowd ever: LIE.
Greatest EC victory since Reagan: LIE.
Bowling Green Massacre: LIE.
3-5 Million illegal voters: LIE.
Sun shined during my inauguration speech: LIE.

Shall I go on?

So they want the plan sped up? That's not what I hear them screaming about.

My guess is that they want a replacement in place before a repeal. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, or them voicing their displeasure in the actions of their representatives. Nothing wrong with that either.

The media isn't falsely reporting anything. They are showing footage of constituents not happy with what it happening in DC. I watch the footage and draw my own conclusions from what I see and hear.
Geez, is every "so called" Conservative a "conspiracy theorist"? It just might be that a few people don't like the Trump agenda just like a few of your Conservative buddies didn't like Obamas.

It doesn't make sense to wait to do something afterward, if you know you're going to oppose it.

 Yeah, right.

Maybe you should reread the post to which you replied, as well as the quote provided therein.

You can't make them see what they don't want to see.

All you can do is present the Facts and hope for the best.

They are showing footage of liberal constituents who didn't even vote Republican. That is obvious by some of their biased questions. The media is misleading people into believing that it is Republicans who are rising up against Republicans and that is typical of the liberally biased MSM to misrepresent the true facts. I don't doubt that a percentage of the people aren't even constituents in the first place. Do they have bouncers at the door to make sure not only are these people really constituents but are only Republican constituents? There were 63 million people who voted against Trump in the election, millions from every single state, many of whom are carrying on like a bunch of wild rabid dogs. It's easy for these liberal rabid dogs to make it into these town hall meetings to stoke up news coverage. I'm only asking that the media identify these wild rabid dogs by their party affiliation and whether or not the are really constituents or not instead of giving viewers the impression that it is Republicans against Republicans.
