After all the whining about Obama's golfing, the new POTUS has elapsed Obamas three month golfing excursions in a mere 33 days.

I believe the apologists will insist trump is "working" while golfing while Obama was---I don't know...maybe golfing.

Oh, the WH propaganda machine is already at it. They are claiming that POTUS was only going to play "A couple of holes" but it just turned into 18. It wasn't supposed to be made public, but members of the golf outings posted POTUS photos on social media.

The "Trumpeters" are already looking for stories and photos on Breitbart and Drudge to show he was signing executive orders between holes..........

Trump could give Obama 15 strokes and still win the match. Trump & I use to meet up at
Maxwell's Plum the #1 singles bar in Manhatten from 1969-1971 until I got married. After we
became friends he asked me if I wanted to play golf at Wingfoot. I never at that time played
golf and never even heard of Wingfoot. So Trump's been p;laying golf for over 45 years, he's
created many courses, I think you should be allowed to do things you enjoy & are good at
without being walked over the coals for indulging!

McIlroy said he shot an 8 over when he played with Trump. Not too shabby.

I don't care how much golf he plays. What does bother me is that he is doing EXACTLY what he criticized Obama for. Now, if he wants to apologize for those comments, that's okay. However, humility doesn't seem to be in Trumps vocabulary.

The Trump haters going to hate no matter what he does. Trump people don't care....... moving on.

Hypocrites rarely do care much for integrity.

The new president has taken three weekend getaways in the first month of office, spending millions of taxpayer dollars in Secret Service protection and about 25 percent of his time away from the White House. The Secret Service has also paid for security for expensive business trips for his sons' business ventures to foreign countries. *** Trump has headed to the golf course at least six times since he took office, another favorite criticism against Obama. Trump mocked Obama more than two dozen times for golfing amid problems in the White House. ***

Trump said last August that if he became president, he wouldn’t have time for golf. "I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf," he said at an event in Virginia. ***

IMO, Trump doesn't just play golf. He's addicted to it. He owns a number of them and plays every chance he gets. It seems to be an integral part of his life that he can't do without.

Really?? The list is endless about the left and their hypocrisy as you well know. You know darn well that most trump haters will never give him credit for anything and will attack him on everything possible. Talk about hypocrisy..... and yeah the Obama haters were the same.. the question is are you adult enough to acknowledge what is self evident?

Well, anybody who complained about Obama's golfing who doesn't complain here is a hypocrite.

And in spite if playing 1000 rounds of golf in 30 days he is still president!

You leftists are losing your mojo!

"Donald Trump has zero worry about contradicting himself, because he does it all day long," said Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian who has met with Trump. "He figures he can get away with it because he does it all the time. There is no worry about it. He says one thing and then does another, and his supporters don't hold it against him."

Golf is a great game and very addictive. I could care less if he put a practice green on the south lawn of the White House, even if taxpayers paid for it. What I do detest is the hypocrisy that never seems to end.

I don't think it's appropriate for the President, whose first days aren't going well, to take a vacation out of state every weekend to go golfing. That is a bit much. Especially since it's on the taxpayer's dime, and it's very expensive (Air Force One, Secret Service). He didn't contribute to it, since he didn't pay taxes. Only "the little people" pay for it. (Soon it will be a golfing week in Scotland...on our dime.)

When I was assigned to a big case at work, I had to work six long days a week, and part of the time seven days a week. And my job was, I assume, not as relevant to the country as being President. I expect him to be reading the intelligence briefings daily, to be studying on foreign leaders and the histories of countries and issues in the world, and to be speaking with economists so he can learn about the economy (he had asked a foreign policy cabinet member whether the dollar being strong or weak was good for the economy, and the cabinet member had to tell him that he needed to ask an economist that, since the cabinet man's expertise was foreign policy or whatever). Trump has a lot to learn about governing. It's not the same as running a business. He's not the boss of everyone. He's the leader of an important team in a group of teams.

While I did not complain about Obama's golfing I think there are distinctions between the two. To the best of my knowledge Trump is playing on weekends only while it seems Obama played materially more than that. Also I don't consider him playing with the PM of Japan total folly. I am a lousy golfer but did find it useful to golf with customers, suppliers or others in the company. You are having an enjoyable day and getting to get to know the other people on a different level.

I completely agree with you.

There is already a putting green at the white house. It was put in while Eisenhower was president.

No we can't criticize him for this or anything yet. I actually don't think it seems like Trump actually works on the weekends.

Fortunately that is far, far from the case.

I cant buy that argument. It wasn't the activity of golf that was Trumps beef, it was Obamas time away from the WH and not working. Trump is learning why that time away was so important to Obama and is actually doing more of it.
