The leak of Flynn's conversations is a crime.

Their hypocrisy has no bounds. Their "moral" compass has no pointer.

Now some anonymous "intelligence official" is being quoted at me saying there was nothing in the transcript of Flynn's call that was illegal. Just a couple weeks ago the whole intelligence community was compared, by Trump, to Nazi Germany.
It'd be funny but it's nearly sad.

No! It doesn't!

This was NOT a case of a Whistle Blower, since the Transcripts of the Flynn Conversation show nothing on which a Whistle should be blown! NOTHING!

Intelligence Official: Transcripts Of Flynn's Calls Don't Show Criminal Wrongdoing : The Two-Way : NPR

Flynn's only wrong doing, was not disclosing fully that the conversation occured. Nothing in the conversation was wrong. And Nothing in the conversation was unusual.

The same type of conversations occured multiple times under the Obama Administration!

This was a clear case of Signals Intell being collected by American Intell Agency Assets, kept, and released for Political Purposes.

This was NOT Whistle Blowing, since nothing in the Flynn Coversation was even controversial, much less illegal!-

Isn't that link itself a leak? The transcript of that call is classified, and here you're linking to an analysis of it.
See why it stinks ti high heaven?

We are way past sad.............:(

I have my own theories, with some degree of evidence, which links the implementation back to Obama, the White House, and Obama's activities since leaving office.

Obama made an open statement that he planned to setup a "Shadow Government" in Washington D.C. in a final press conference. It is available on Youtube.

Many others have covered what Obama has been doing since leaving office.

OFA, - Organizing for Action.... is at the heart of it, a group which Obama founded.

Interesting.

A clear case of what exactly? The phone calls were not released to the public. The only thing that happened was that an unnamed source said that sanctions were discussed. Either that was true or it was not. If it was not true then nothing was released. SO then what you are asserting is that it was true.

So it's Obama's fault that Flynn lied.

I'll bet Obama was responsible for the 2 nor'easters we had last week, too. I swear, that man is more powerful than I ever knew in the 8 years he was polluting the Oval Office.

I think YOU need to read it again. According to those who have read the entire transcipts, it was a lie of ommission, and not commission.

-

If he forgot to mention it it's a lie of omission, if he actually denies saying it then it's not a lie of omission. So you're wrong. He didn't just forget to mention, he denied it. There's a difference, not that it matters when talking about if what he did is wrong really. Whether a lie was one of omission or commission doesn't make it worse or better. If it was truly simply a "oops I forgot" then it wouldn't be a lie in the first place. This was a lie. It's sad that you need to do so much twisting to make your guys lie seem better than everyone elses lies. Laughable.

What a crackpot idea. Conservatives' desperation is going 'waaay over the top.

Amazing huh? Rush Limbaugh heard about Obama setting up a shadow government and now it's the latest news amongst gullible conservatives. They are terrified of the idea that their guys actually have to govern so they make up a shadow government to blame. It's like a bunch of three year olds scared of the monster under the bed.

Maybe that's it. It's so much easier to be in opposition than in power, maybe this is a way for them to still whine and complain instead of actually doing something.

Rush Limbaugh is still alive?!
I'm actually shocked that the tiny heart at the center of that fat pile of **** hasn't exploded due to Limbaugh's sheer gluttony.

I can't think of anything else. It's all they know to do. I understand blaming Dem's for obstruction and stuff. But a shadow government? FFS...

Alive and strong it appears. I have co-workers that love the moron. I listen in to his show maybe 2-3 hours a week. I can't go 15 minutes without hearing something that's he's misconstruing, or saying he knows something that he doesn't, or is taking a simple thing and trying to explain it under the lens of "all democrats are evil and want to control every aspect of your life". It's insane ****.

Like most people, I read the news stories about cult leaders like Jones and Koresh, but never really gave it much thought. Never in a million years did I think that it would creep into our political culture. I know they are a minority, but the Trump radicals do actually concern me.

I got into a recent conversation with a radical, conservative Trump supporter who was in favor of the Mexican wall. He said ALL illegals should be shot if crossing the border. I said what about a little 10 year old girl trying to flee poverty with her family. This guy looked me directly in the eye and said, "It doesn't matter, shoot her too".

I told him that people like him are the very reason decent people stop attending church services. Christian values my arse.............:(

He doesn't mean it most likely. They are just angry. I have an aunt that says the same thing. Arrest and deport all illegals, kill em if need be, called Obama a nigger constantly (even though she loves Ben Carson lol) etc etc. But she works at a reception center with my wife and had a young mexican couple come in and book a wedding. When they went to fill out the forms they both said they didn't have drivers licenses or social security numbers. Apparently according to my wife, my aunt couldn't have been more friendly. Told them that those are just in case they don't pay or ruin the place during the wedding so that they can prove it was you etc. and that they can book it without that info. Well now these two have called in and canceled the wedding. Scared of being deported. Begged my aunt not to call anyone and my aunt is expressing how sorry she feels for them. But at the same time still loves Trump and wants them all deported except for those 2.

Either that was true or it was not. If it was not true then nothing was released. SO then what you are asserting is that it was true.

The content of the phone calls were reviewed by:

President Trump and Trump's Staff

Senate National Security Committee

The FBI

The NSA

The State Department.

.... And they all came out and said that nothing was said in the phone conversation which is a violation of the Law.

It cannot be Whistle Blowing, if there is NOTHING to blow the whistle ON!

This was NOT a case of Whistle Blowing, it was a Case of using Government Signal Intel Assets for a Gothcha Political Character Assassination.

All done as part of a larger effort to discredit and disrupt the Trump Administration.

Laws were clearly broken in the process, and those responsible need to be investigated, charged, and prosecuted for their crimes.

Yet nothing was released to the public. The only thing happened was that a unnamed source said that Flynn talked about sanctions at a time when Flynn had no right to talk about sanctions with Russia.
The transcripts were never publicly released. Yet Flynn was forced to resign because Trump lost trust in him. You cant have it both ways either Flynn did something or he didn't.

Whether Flynn did or did not do something is NOT the point of this THREAD.

The Point of this Thread is that we KNOW laws were broken for the story to ever reach the media, and who ever broke those laws should be investigated, arrested, charged, and prosecuted.

You do not know that laws were broke, you are just assuming some were. ANd yes it is all about Flynn, if Flynn didn't talk about sanctions there would have been no issue. Yet it appears that Flynn did talk about sanctions and the President knew it for a good deal of time. That would indicate that the trust issues are a lie. ANd whining about intel leaks is just a distraction. It makes no sense at all that Trump fired Flynn over trust issues while claiming that Flynn is innocent. Not given the amount of time that Trump knew what happened. It sounds more likely that Trump fired Flynn to save his own hide. And put out this distraction about going after the leaker to steer everyone away from what happened. Its a classic move by authoritarian leaders to do such things. Hugo Chavez was very good at attacking the messenger and just pretending that he did nothing wrong.
