It would take a special sort of idiot to believe the current narrative being floated out about Trump.

Scott Adams:
My liberal friends are gleefully scouring the semi-fake news and sending me articles that show Trump is “incompetent.” That’s the new narrative on the left. The Hitler illusion is starting to fade because Trump refuses to build concentration camps as his critics hallucinated he would. And Israel likes Trump, which is making the Hitler illusion harder to maintain. So the critics are evolving their main line of attack from Hitler to “incompetent,” with a dash of “chaos.” You’ll see those two words all over the Opposition Media’s coverage. It isn’t a coincidence. How to Evaluate a President | Scott Adams' Blog

I suppose all sorts of incompetent people build a multi-billion dollar business, beat 13 formidable Republicans in the primary, and then win the Presidency. Nothing to it!

Of course the "incompetent" narrative will ring true to some when they see Trump learning the ropes and having some false starts here at the beginning. But soon enough the narrative will fall apart once Trump gets things straightened out, just as the "Hitler" narrative failed.

And look what Hitler did in the interim...:(

Incompetence has always been the narrative. He lends himself to it well.

Please, can we just stop with the Hitler comparisons?
I think Hitler is over the top.
Injecting a "Godwin" (google for those who are unfamiliar) is a well known exaggeration technique.

But He DOES bear striking resemblance with two WWII Axis leaders, Hitler and Mussolini, with his Wild claims, posturing, and most especially/famously...
"The Big Lie" of Hitler/Goebbels (now "Fake News", "alternative facts"), that was a center piece of Naziism.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_lie

A big lie (German: große Lüge) is a propaganda technique. The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, about the use of a Lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."
[......]

Right on!
He goes before the CIA after lambasting (and lying about) them for months, and tells them he's their biggest fan.
He reversed on (5 Years of) Birther... and Blamed it on... Hillary! Presto!
Oh Baby, even Goebbels would be admiring the chutzpa of that one.

Double and triple reversed on releasing Taxes, and many other not just Flip flops or Spins, but Counter-accusations.
And this is a Weekly occurrence with Trump&co.

And in Spicer and Kellyanne, he's got more professional liars at the top.
Kellyanne never answered a question straight in 6 months, and Spicer just didn't take any.
Who needs Facts/press conferences, when Comrade Trump can just Tweet without questions.

The Trumpovs call Real News "Fake News", and then make their own [alternative] "facts."

"You're entitled to your own opinion, but Not your own Facts."
- Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Never seen anything like this bunch in my 60+ years.
What's more astonishing is he didn't get the Bum's Rush in a Month or less during the campaign, and that many here defend these Grotesque Lies.

You don't think trump is incompetent? Have you listened to him speak?

So you've created a thread to predict that people will continue to see incompetence and chaos in the Trump administration?
What incredible perspicacity!
Well done.

Gentle correction--he beat 16 well know and well vetted Republicans, not 13. But yes, the gullible and those who want to believe the worst of the President are almost desperate to create a narrative with staying power. The fake news is rampant with the attempts. These the Federalist identified are just the tip of the iceberg:

16 Fake News Stories Reporters Have Run Since Trump Won

HA!! Only 16 of all the crazy news stories about Trump's doings are fake? Considering he does and says at least 5 outrageous things a day, that's a pretty good track record by the media.

HA!!! You should have seen the 'tip of the iceberg' qualifier before assuming that those 16 stories were all that have been noted by competent media watchers.
