The Enemy Media - Trump Has A Point

My local media covers Trump much differently than the national media. They tell the news with very little spin negative or positive. And I live in the Twin Cities which is very liberal. My question is, why can't the national media just do their job and report the news and let the viewers decide how to interpret events? Why the open hostility, the over hyping of negative stories and the absolute ignoring of anything positive Trump related?

Their lesson is to cover the news and let it lead where it may. It's not the media's fault that the public is easily duped.

Trump would like us to hate the media, why, because they hold him accountable. Example,. Trumps lies about his EC win, he got soooo called out, and looked like a complete ass behind that podium. Yes, of course it was the media who put those false stats on paper, and forced the Don by gunpoint to look like a complete idiot. The Cheeto in Chief needs no assistance in looking like a fool, he does fine on all on his own.

Not true. I'm not an ardent supporter but I don't see him as mentally ill. The left sure has had a time though of excepting the election results. They are in denial that liberalism is dead.
 
The media is not the enemy. A lying President is the enemy of democracy.

There's no question that the media is indeed the enemy of the folks in flyover country. The media is constantly heaping scorn on those people even now. Those are Trump supporters.

The media will never give that up because to reach out and try to understand the working class would be to admit that their own world view is wrong and they are idiots. What are the chances that they will admit that?

Like you, the media are gripped by hatred for Trump.

This colors their messaging. Please note that messaging and reporting are not only NOT synonyms, they are actually, almost always, mutually exclusive.


As one of the affected, this also colors how you hear things as their audience. This is not unlike the racist who does not hear the racism in a racist joke.

The media acknowledges, displays and embraces their bias as shown in the link below. Media includes, but is not limited to, the press which is dominated by Liberalism.

I have no problem with an active press that deals fairly and evenly with all in authority. Sadly our press actively and assertively favors the liberal factions while they actively and assertively condemn the conservative factions.

Even more sadly, their duped supporters don't seem to realize that they are being duped.
