Trump and the GOP want to investigate the leaks and the Dems want to investigate the Russian's hacking and who in Trump's campaign were communicating with the Russian's during the election. So do we investigate one or the other or both? And if just one, which one?

Not sure why both cannot be investigated. My god how many Obamacare repeal votes did we have, how many Benghazi hearings did we have? If we have time for those, we have time to investigate both.

IMO, the leaker should be punished and depending on the severity of Flynn's comments/actions he should possibly be punished as well.

The investigation into Trump and his campaign's ties to Russia must come first. After we know the nature of those relationships we can determine whether or not the leaks come from a partisan warrior or a genuine American hero.

In terms of priorities, I think investigation of the spying by intelligence agencies, and who is willing to commit felonies to leak their results is priority one. It reveals a shadow government everyone should see as extremely dangerous.

Second, they should investigate whatever communications might have been taking place. That doesn't carry anything close to the ominous repercussions of national intelligence agencies actions and the shadow government that is controlling them. Still, best to put these accusations to rest regarding the communications.

So basically you are saying that it is more important to investigate the leaks rather than the Russians interference in our elections and the Trump peoples possible involvment. I am not commenting, just clarifying.

I don't think that's an either/or question.

No such thing as either/or in this instance. They are both equally important.

Russians hacked a private entity. Given the leaks on flynn, if they had anything on trump they would have released it.

Leaks came from the deep state, that's a crime committed by government officials to undermine the democratically elected president. There is a name for that...

I cannot agree. Leaks in government should be always be identified and prosecuted. If we want people in government to have an outlet to bring to attention, what they believe tobe illegal, we should create a method of doing so without doing damage, if they err.

Like I said... there is a proper order to things. A full investigation of Trump and his campaign's ties to Russia will expose all sources.
You should be arguing for that.

Sure... they are called "conspiracy theories".

So you don't think it was the NSA or someone from the intelligence community who leaked the information?

I have no idea. As I said... a complete investigation into Trump and his campaign's ties to Russia will expose all sources of information. Otherwise you are just guessing...

So no investigation into who in the deep state leaked classified information in an attempt to undermine a democratically elected president? Seriously?

Are you having reading comprehension problems?

I see no reason Why they can't be investigated at the same time.

Besides politics and trying to make up excuses for Hillary's humiliating loss in the election why would you say we should hunt Unicorns first looking for a maybe possibly depending on what is really is connection between Trump directing his underlings to conduct business on his behalf. Verse a verifiable case that without a doubt laws got broken by leaking information.

You forgot the question mark in whatever question you were trying to ask, bro.

Sorry, this one is not going away, investigate now.

?

There is one you can stick anyplace you like.

Why investigate a possible crime first instead of at the same time as a known crime???? Your position is one of possible takes priority over known, sis.

There's no putting the genie back in the bottle.
Obviously the investigation into the ties between Russia and the Trump campaign are well underway already. You need to educate yourself before spewing your nonsense.

Maybe when we receive all the relevant details, you can see how the intelligence community came to its conclusions... leaks and all.

There was no contact between Russia and the Trump organization during the campaign/election. Obama appointed bureaucrats within the intelligence community feverishly searched and found nothing. If they had it would have been made public long ago.

Today those same bureaucrats committing felonies by leaking information. The Rank & File loves Trump. What they need to do is purge the known Political Hacks from the intelligence community.

yes, they should release full transcripts, find out who leaked, and find out how deep it goes.

don't you find it interesting that on his last day Obama signed an EO that gave all the raw data to MULTIPLE agencies? make it harder to track leaks.

Funny that.

these traitors in the government had they had anything, would have leaked it. in fact because NO transcripts have been released it's likely there is nothing in there illegal.
