lol....

Be honest now. Who, other than the useful idiots, didn't see this coming?

Trump's fast start is now a memory as intractable controversies bear down on his administration from inside and out...

Each day brings a gusher of controversy and conflicting messages that drown out the successes Trump has managed to rack up so far, including his well-choreographed Supreme Court pick and visits by leaders of Britain, Japan, Canada and Israel that sent reassuring signals abroad.

In Trump's three-and-a-half weeks in power, internal tensions have generated a year's worth of unflattering headlines that some critics feel detract from the work of the presidency.

For Trump, chaotic White House becomes the norm - CNNPolitics.com

Yes. Let's be honest. Leaked information from Intelligence Agencies has disrupted Trump's agenda. The Deep State, named and nameless bureaucrats, who's jobs are in danger with Trump's policies are also disruptive. "This too shall paas." I await Trump's Mid East agenda that is likely to go against the Permanent War NeoCon bureaucracy to see if he will be able to lead. He's going to need control of the Pentagon and the Intelligence Agencies. Where are their loyalties? That question should not have to be asked. Trump's the boss.

:lamo Yeah, it's "someone else's fault."

Perfect.

It appears their loyalties are to the USA and the American people.

So, before Trump even got into office, the leftists planned to do whatever they could to take him down. We are seeing that happen right before our eyes. Leaking classified information to the the media in order to damage your political opponent because you are STILL having a hissy fit about losing, and screw the damage it does to the country. Right, because that's what loyal Americans do.

I saw this coming

Every day trump is in office is going to be a bloody dogfight

And trump has just the street fighter temperment to lead it

Stick around buddy

You ain't seen nuthin yet

if anyone didn't see this sh!t storm coming then they obviously were not paying attention, and for quite some time

I've seen nothing to indicate that is true. Example. Tenet got the Medal of Freedom for providing false WMD evidence against Iraq to facilitate that War agenda by GW Bush, That does not demonstrate loyatly to the American people, but exactly the opposite. Example. Trump's people proceed to establish a dialogue with the Russians and perhaps initiate policies to end the Cold War and Intelligence Agencies leak info to sabotage that agenda and maintain the Cold War agenda. That is not loyalty. It appears to me that the Intelligence Agencies don't want Trump as President and their boss, and are covertly sabotaging Trump's agendas. Trump was elected and they need follow Trump agendas.

Trump ran what is essentially a large sole proprietorship - he wasn't even answerable to a board. How anyone though that experience would translate to being able to effectively manage a huge bureaucracy with multiple competing constituencies where you cannot simply fire people you don't like while continuing to deliver vital services - like defense - is completely beyond me.

The first month has been a showcase in utter incompetence.

Trump picks the fights. And then cries when people try to defend themselves.

Heck, he picked fights with the intelligence agencies he is going to have to rely on for the next few years. He insulted and publicly belittled them, and praised Julian Assange and WikiLeaks for doing the Lord's work by leaking classified government information. And now he is wondering why his whitehouse is leaking live a sieve.

Heck, the intelligence agencies are worried about actually giving him any information anymore. They don't trust him not to leak it now:
Report: Intelligence agencies are keeping sensitive info from Trump

You can't blame that on CNN.

There have always been leaks in Washington. Some presidents take advantage of them to influence the flow of information. Other presidents whine about it on Twitter.

Do you think maybe Trump is rethinking his strategy of making an enemy of the entire American media (except, of course, "Fox & Friends")?

Be honest now. Who, other than those blind to reality, can't see that all of this "controversy and conflicting messages" is being created by active elements of the disloyal opposition?

Month after month the propaganda organs of powerful special interests who feel threatened by a Trump populist Presidency have been using every tool in their arsenal to undermine his ability to enact any policy that threatens their interests.

The MSM has been slanting the "news" (read "gossip") of his actions in the worst way possible.

Meanwhile, activist drones have been taking to the streets, encouraged by the hate- and fear-mongering over the last six months to acts which remind me of the old third world chaos I used to read about when I was a kid.

There are numbers of disgruntled bureaucrats, in fear for their jobs if Trump is allowed to complete his "drain the swamp" agenda, who are doing everything they can to undermine his government from within...and people outside are actively encouraging this.

IMO this is all due to the fear that someone is in office who is wealthy enough to be immune to bribery or other blandishments, and too old to care about needing "special help" for his future when he leaves office. A person who is actually trying to keep his campaign promises in a position to truly shake things up and bring real change to government.

That is the threat all this internal and externally supported "activism" is really about.

I accept that the man is making minor mistakes as a complete novice to the political arena. I am also glad to see him taking action on his promises despite the furor of the butthurt special interests he is upsetting by doing so.

It is unfortunate that people who are so avid to oppose him cannot or will not see the truth behind their efforts to undermine this Presidency. That most of it is hyper-emotional B/S based on demonizing memes, promulgated and encouraged by a number of special interests who will do anything and everything to prevent the loss of their hard-earned power.

I just wish people would start to actually THINK for themselves, recognize that the man has faults like anyone else, but that does not translate into existential evil. :twocents:

The last people you want to piss off are your intelligence folks. They can bury you. Big mistake.

I'd say leaking info about and undermining a president acting against the nation's best interest by forming an oddly cozy relationship with Russia is exactly what those releasing leaks and undermining him are supposed to do.

Trump does pick the fights

He wants to change things in Washington and the Washington establishment does not want to be changed

The fact that it pisses them off and they fight back does not bother me in the least

We are in this fight till the last dog dies

These leaks are hurting the country. First, it's been disclosed that we are tapping into the Russian ambassadors conversations. That being disclosed, in and of itself, is a severe security breach. Who authorized the disclosure of such high level information?

Second, I can't ever remember a prior administration sabotaging an incoming administration like this. The Obama administration illegally wiretapped the transition advisor to the President Elect, and it was made public after he became the NSA, in order to take him down. This does not look good.

What do the intelligence agencies know about the Trump ties to Russia that the rest of American does not know? If we can get the answer to that, it will clear up everything.

This is mostly deflection. Trump made enemies in the intelligence community and the media; he doesn't have control of information.

I will agree that the leaks are not evidence of a healthy White house. Leaks are troubling, but what they reveal is also troubling. I felt the same conflict about Wikileaks, and about whistle-blowers in general. They're dangerous to the country but also necessary to keep our officials accountable. Bad things happen in the dark.

However, we know exactly how Trump felt about Wikileaks. Trump, quite literally, asked for it.

Trump did not seem to have any issues with leaks when it benefitted him on the campaign trail. He is losing credibility by the day...................:(
