The stones on this man must be the size of boulders... or his narcissism disorder is far worse than speculated upon by mental health professionals.

As we all know, Trump fired Flynn. He fired Flynn. Go back and read that again. He did it. But today Trump tried to do his best Pontius Pilate washing of hands pretending that it was not his fault.

DONALD TRUMP

Michael Flynn — General Flynn is a wonderful man. I think he's been treated very, very unfairly by the media, as I call it, the fake media in many cases. And I think it's really a sad thing that he was treated so badly. I think in addition to that from intelligence, papers are being leaked, things are being leaked, it's criminal action. It's a criminal act and it's been going on for a long time before me but now it's really going on. People are trying to cover up for a terrible loss that the Democrats had under Hillary Clinton. I think it's very, very unfair what's happened to General Flynn, the way he was treated and the documents and papers that were illegally — I stress that, illegally leaked.

This is truly amazing. First that Trump did nothing for over two weeks when he knew Flynn lied to the Vice President and then that Trump fired the man but tries to pretend that it was somebody elses fault.

At least we know Trump does not have the old Harry Truman sign on his desk that "the buck stops here".

I think that it is very, very weird that Trump uses the term "very, very" so much.
As for the buck passing....that's what execs do.
Very, very typical.

You do know the wiretaps of Flynn were illegally leaked, don't you? One or more of the Intelligence Agencies made the recordings and leaked them, illegally, to the press. Why would they do that? Does the old boy network, "the CIA inside the CIA," not want to lose control of the Executinve Branch? Trump's actions are deeply disturbing to the Deep State, a/k/a, the unelected status quo that run the gov't. Flynn is the blowback and there will be more.

That is one issue. That is NOT the issue he was fired for.

What he did today - the Pontius Pilate washing of his hands like he did - was beyond disgusting - not to mention cowardly.

You do know that the Clinton emails were illegally obtained right?

Donald Trump is just a born victim. It's everyone else's fault.

Hillary should have tried this tactic during the campaign. "Forget what the leaks showed. Let's just talk about how awful the Russians are for hacking! And the Republicans are probably in cohoots with them!" Maybe some people would have bought into that the way the Trump devotees buy into his words, hook line and sinker and she would have gotten more votes.

There is a massive difference between being brave and being a ****ing fool.

The lying liar, l'll donny, lies again, but we should never take as the norm or 'oh it's just little donny'.

Hold his feet to the fire every single time.

We don't know who leaked the information. But then if Flynn did absolutely nothing wrong there was nothing to leak. Either Flynn is as innocent as a new born baby or he may have broken the law. Trump has maintained - at this point - that Flynn is totally guiltless and did no wrong whatsoever. Trump then said he asked for Flynn's resignation because the issue was not a legal one but a matter of trust. Then later Trump maintained that it was the media's fault that Flynn resigned. Once again, Trump's words are meaningless. No one knows which statement to believe.

The ship of state is rudderless.

1. If Flynn did nothing wrong then there is nothing to leak. No foul, no leak.

2. If there was nothing to leak then Trump would have been wise to ask for a full release of a transcripts of Flynn's monitored calls to the Russian ambassador, and other Russians. Trump is avoiding that option.

3. If has been reported by Newsweek this afternoon that several foreign intel services have now notified American intel and investigative agencies that they have been monitoring Flynn and other Trump staff with close connections to Russia since before August. They have reportedly stated that they also conducted physical surveillance of Flynn and other members of Trump's staff while they were in Europe months before the election. Some of this surveillance was also reportedly shared with other European governments.

4. We are also hearing that the White House staff have been in a stage of rage and panic because the Trump's leadership is non-existence and those surrounding him may be a unstable as Trump. The GOP has continually avoided any criticism of Trump. Chaffetz has even said that he had no intention of investigating Trump's connections to Russia nor was Chaffetz or the GOP going to demand Trump's tax returns. In short, the GOP Congress has essentially said they were not concerned about Trump's connections to Russia. So who in the name of all things holy would staff talk to regarding serious concerns? It well could be people who are in the White House who are "leaking" information. They can't report it internally and they can't go to Congress with it.

So then how does anyone know where the "leak" came from, if in fact it was a leak?

Trump would be the very freaking last person I would believe at this point.

He blames someone else for an action he himself took? What in the precise ****?

Once again I'll say that it must be some lower level of hell trying to work for, with and around someone who has all the power but operates under a reality that is not shared by the rest of the world. You have to wonder if Trump has age related dementia.

Does Trump lack a sense of irony?

Ok, wait a minute. I've been browsing these forums for just a little while, but I have noticed that most of you are very intent on being specific with words and their usage.

Where in that post does Trump say he didn't fire him? Where does he say it's the fault of the press?

Yeah...with Trump, the buck stops....over there. (Who are we supposed to believe? Trump, or our lyin' eyes?)

I actually don't get that either. He lied to the VP. Gone.

You are equating the government spying on it's citizens to Hilary's hacked email?
