Also, I agree that the media is being none too kind. With the exception of FOXNews, perhaps, most other media reporting on Trump is not very flattering. But he gives them the ball and they just run with it. He needs to just stop giving them the ball in the first place.

There are other factors in play here that doesn't look too promising for The Donald.

Remember how he has attacked the media for reporting on him? "Fake news!" "Opposition Party!" He shouldn't expect no love from them.
Remember how he has attacked the intelligence services? Again, expect no love.
Remember how he has attacked the courts? Hat trick!

The old saying, "Mopped yourself into a corner," comes to mind.

The Donald is not very good at this being president thing. I think if you give him enough rope.........................

I believe there is some intel out there we know nothing about yet. I am almost certain of it. But all I can do is sit here in the recliner, eat some popcorn, and watch.

Usually, I can predict how a movie ends. (Except for The Sixth Sense. Never saw that ending coming. LOL!)

This Trump thing, I can not predict. But I can predict scandal after scandal and one heck of a bumpy ride. Just when I think Trump has crossed the line, we find out there doesn't appear to be a line at all.

I suspect the GOP old guard will be no friend of The Donald, in due time. I think his unpopularity will soon snowball on the right. (His radical supporters notwithstanding. They will stay true unconditionally.)

Consult?

If they want only softballs and fawning, all they have to do is the same they did before: go on Hannity or something to get a verbal BJ.





So much of the right seems to be consumed with the idea that despite making up roughly 50% of the country, they are somehow always victimized by the other 50% - an "other 50%" which is also, according to so much of the right, hopelessly incompetent liberal snowflakes. (Go figure that one out).

Complaining about not getting their assess kissed by "the media" at every turn is one of the many manifestations of this disease. I really don't understand how they can look in the mirror, tell themselves that unlike the hated liberals, they are actually strong individualists, and then ****ing cry every time "the media" reports facts that reflect negatively on them. This is especially true given all the conservative media out there. Just look at all the "I hate liberals" DP threads anchored in conservative media sources.....

...but somehow, the disease compels many to pretend that TV infotainment is "the media" and everything else doesn't count.




I'd say they should drop the victimhood complex and decide whether they want to go toe-to-toe with what they consider the liberal enemy, or go to their safe spaces on Fox News and all the rest. They have no standing to demand that liberal-leaning media abstain from reporting bad things about them, nor to demand softballs from it were they to appear on liberal TV media.

It doesn't help that they keep sending out dishonest dingbats like Conway to lie about massacres that never happened, and so forth.

The question should be why they let her go on those shows without letting her in on the loop. They are letting her look like a complete fool, when she really isn't.

The media's treatment of this administration is hostile, imo. They are holding them accountable for a significant number of lies. Thank Google adclick revenue. As always,it's follow the money.
