I think it may take over 30 years and maybe as many as 300 to round up and deport all of the illegals. I came up with the 30 year estimate by taking the over 2 million dpeorted by Obama in 8 years. Although that was the most ever by a president I will make that the base. In the first week of the Trump deportations they did 680. If you use that as the number to be deported every week, it will take over 300 years to deport all of the 11 million still in the US. That is of course if we can keep any more from getting here. Now I know many think that the Fence on our southern border will do that, but that just makes me laugh. It may slow it up, but stop the influx, NOT. And then the cost. I have read estimates of building the fence from as low as 15 billion to a high of 30 billion. And then the cost of maintenance maybe higher than you think as people will either tear it down in placees or just tunnel under it. I wonder how much the total cost of the gathering up and deporting all of the illegals and wonder if it will not be cheaper to just continue to just catch and deport the real dangerous ones and forget about the others? Don't legalize them, just make no effort to deport them.

So by your logic, we should stop trying to enforce any law we cannot enforce 100%? We do not catch the majority of criminals who commit any crime, but that does not mean we stop enforcing the law. Of course the liberals have never had any respect for the law or any rules of civilization.

It's amazing isn't it? We can't afford to deport illegal immigrants but we can definitely afford to pay for their anchor babies and welfare.

Make it to where it's more of a burden to live here, than to go back home. That's the solution.

Let 'em stay here. ...just take away all their welfare, social services, and anchor-baby citizenship. Take away their ability to make money. Take away their "American Dream." Then they'll go home willingly.

The way to do this is to prosecute the people who employ them. Start with the CEO of Tyson.

What is the status of E-Verify?

Well, we'd have to amend the Constitution in order to eliminate "anchor babies," and I don't see that happening any time soon if at all.

However, I've never understood how anyone who is neither a citizen nor a legal resident alien has ever qualified for programs designed to aid U.S. citizens.

So IMO, eliminate access to all social welfare programs and rigorously enforce the current laws requiring proof of legal status to work in the USA.

Then they have a choice. They can all leave and when their child turns 18 he/she can petition for re-admission as a citizen, or they can leave their child in the care of legal citizens and hope this will aid in their own admission when the child turns 18 and requests parental return as legal aliens.

Maybe or maybe not

It all depends on which side of the bed Anthony Kennedy wakes up on the morning it is considered by the SC

Do the cost benefit analysis. And there are many laws we don't enforce. And this may be the most costy thing the government will ever do.

I have suggested several times a way to make it difficult at low cost. Federal or state ID cards and a national thumb print data base of all citizens. If you want a job, buy or rent a house, get a bank account or a drivers license you have to show an ID and allow the check of your thumb print. Without a place to live, a job they will go home without any trouble from us.

But that will not happen no matter who is in office since it would be bad for the economy and those poor billionaires might have to pay legals and native born actual wages.

The billionaires can make money no matter what the illegal alien policy is

This is about preserving economic prosperity for ordinary Americans

Mexico is a failed culture and merging our two countries will only make peon and serfs out of everyone exce[t the super rich

Trump is a traitor to his class who is picking up the message of Ross Perot in 1996 who warned us about NAFTA

That's always the problem...passing laws or amendments for our best interests, and not just the interests of politicians.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with offering services to treat life-threatening injuries. However, that's it. Illegals should be banned from access to all other programs.

So IMO, eliminate access to all social welfare programs and rigorously enforce the current laws requiring proof of legal status to work in the USA.
Aside from what I wrote above, I like it.

I wouldn't even allow an 18-year old to make such "requests." Immigration must follow our laws. Period. Kid can request all he wants, but if Mama y Padre jump the border to visit him, they get punted right back across it. The child can go to Mexico to visit if he wants to see his parents so bad.
