The White House said the roundtable addressed topics such as childcare for working mothers, recruiting and retaining women in the workplace and encouraging a higher level of female entrepreneurship; issues of great import to the President’s eldest daughter, Ivanka. Also on Monday, Trump and Trudeau announced the creation of a new project called the United States Canada Council for the Advancement of Women Business Leaders-Female Entrepreneurs.

“In order to create economic growth and well-paying jobs we must assure the economy is a place where women can work and thrive,” President Trump said as he introduced the roundtable. Prime Minister Trudeau mentioned the “significant barriers” women face in the working world.

At the press conference today, Trump said he would be instituting a program to empower women entrepreneurs. This program will only be for women! What about equality? Why has Trump joined in the oppression of males with such an obviously biased program? Trumped has joined the feminists in their crusade to emasculate and marginalize men in our country.

Are we, as men, going to just sit back and take this? We must demand that Trump also create a program to empower male entrepreneurs!

What is causing Trump to attack men? Why does he think that men are not important? Why has Trump become an anti-male sexist? Is he a puppet of his evil man-hating daughter? Has Europe and Canada, as he mentions above, corrupted him?

This oppression cannot be allowed.

The city of Austin TX has been favoring contract bids from women and minorities for years. I don't believe this is anti-men.

It's not an attack on men, but it is just more of the same pandering to women that the country has dealt with for the last several decades. I know you're post isn't serious, but it is about time male rights issues get a bit of attention in this country. Women have their rights and now all they want is benefits at everyone's expense, but men still have serious issues on the table that need attention.

Oh and they better not be taking about forcing anyone to provide or pay for woman's child care. That is not a human right or something that should be done.

I never said they were the minority or the majority. The fact is there is issues men still have on table, while there really isn't for women. Equal pay stuff was dealt with forever ago and was never a right in the first place. Child care isn't a right and doesn't need attention, and whatever stuff they're talking about like abortion was done long ago. No one owes them equal employment in a certain job either. Their issues are done.

Yeah, women are full of crap! They just want free stuff that everyone else has to pay for! And now Trump is giving them a special program while men are pushed to the side! Why has Trump betrayed us?

Why would local, state, and federal governments which are all controlled almost excursively by men be curtailing their own rights in favor of advancing benefits for women?

Do you think that if women controlled 90% of all institutions of power in this country they would favor men and curtail the rights of women?

They do frankly. :shrug: Free tampons, free birth control, free child care, employment benefits coming out of peoples ass like paid paternity leave everywhere. They have been doing that crap for a long time really. It's frankly dumb at this point that they are even talking about some of this stuff. Like really, did they miss that the equal pay issue was solved already?

Oh and yes, they shouldn't be getting a special program like this. I'm sorry if that offends you though, I guess.

Yeah, I don't see those doing much good, though I could be wrong. It's very easy to set up a corporation "owned by a woman" without it actually being owned by a woman. Just because a woman owns 3/4 of the stock doesn't mean there's not a contract in the background allowing a male to buy it back for a penny on the dollar.

I honestly don't know. What would I even use as a basis to figure out the answer? I do however think that women would likely support women in that situation. Generally these things in culture go one way, not both ways.

Nothing about this is anti-male, but it is anti-free market, anti-economic freedom, anti-right to contract, anti-voluntary exchange, and is strongly liberal. Saying I oppose what he is doing here is an understatement.

It should have never been on the table at all. Forcing people to agree to certain terms of a contract is not something any president should humor. If people have a right to contract then they flat out have a right to agree to all terms of a contract. The idea that the government will set certain terms of the contract beforehand is bull****.
