Problem solved, Disney just raised park entrance and parking fees.
California will soon have enough cash to solve most of its problems.;)

Unity goes both ways. You can't have a state telling the federal government to go screw itself and then go running for a bailout. Trump can hand over money when the whole of the liberal machine in Sacramento hands over the keys. They've screwed up the state completely and need to go.

Oh, I don't disagree at all. I'm thinking of the people and not the government. I'm completely in favor of providing assistance. I'm also completely in favor of cutting Sacramento out of any hand in it in any way. I surely don't want to give the impression to the people of California that Jerry and his cohorts have a damn thing to do with any assistance.

Need isn't a part of my argument. Try to understand what you are being told before responding.

You don't need unemployment. But house been paying into it all these years. If you get laid off are you reeling me you would opt out of receiving unemployment benifits and use your savings? Or would you receive them since you've been paying into it and that's what it's for. Because that's what your asking California to do here. They're tax dollars support the fed government and fema. If there is a disaster it would be irresponsible of the governor not to seek funds for that purpose.

So, jerry brown, who has spent the last 2 months screaming that he won't follow Federal laws, money be damned, and that California just needs a lamp and a chair, now has his hand out. “No problemmo Jer’, just as soon as you make the announcement that California is no longer a Sanctuary State.

Also Federal dollars not required. Governor Moonbeam stated that California has enough money to launch its own satellites.

Why doesn't he turn to the illegal aliens he loves so much.... I am sure they will help him out, but if I were Trump I would let him twist in the wind.....

It's California. The entire state is a sanctuary state. That means they favor illegal immigrants over their own citizens.

Wasn't being a jerk. You ignored what you were told and responded in a way that in no way addressed what was being said. I asked if you would draw unemployment if laid off since you have been paying into it all these years and you responded with "but I don't NEED it". Well we aren't discussing if you NEED it. We are discussing whether you are entitled to use a program that you yourself have funded over the years that is intended for situations exactly like this.
