Why should scholarships be created exclusively for males?

If scholarships can be given only to female students, the same should be true for men. That is equality. SJWs can take their privilege bull**** and shove it up their ass. Both males and females need financial support.

This laughably ignorant statement ignores systemic privilege and childishly pretends we live in a utopia. Scholarships and organizations in promotion of minorities seek to right a wrong in society. Scholarships and organizations in promotion of the majority inherently oppress minorities in the perpetuation of systemic privilege.

Male numbers in colleges have decreased sharply so efforts are now coming around to increase those numbers. One of those efforts does in fact include scholarships.

Men also need financial support for school, why should scholarships not exist to help men that come from under-privileged backgrounds too? There is no such thing as systematic privilege, that is a lie made up by SJWs who do not understand that a degree in gender studies makes them unemployable.

I'm certainly all for diversity, but it's too much when you give preference to historically-privileged groups. There's already too much discrimination against women in scientific and medical fields and this is just too much. I might expect this kind of thing in America but Australia it's honestly kind of disappointing.

since 90% of the vet students have been female during the past five years, how truly disadvantaged are women who trying to get into the vet program

and the male emphasis was established by the scholarship donor. rather this than no money provided

They do, of course. There are millions of scholarships available to men of every race, religion and socioeconomic circumstance. Do you deny this fact?

Are you allergic to the bigger picture, the more broad perspective, or do you ignore that for some purpose?

That's a lot of bubbly sound goody nonsense. A poor family can in fact have a male child. That male child might grow up to want to go to college and benefit from a scholarship somewhere. Amazing I know, but there you go.

I dont know about australia but in america there is a growing disparity between college educated men and women. I forget the exact numbers but there is significantly more women than men currently enrolled and the trend is growing.

Men understand and are rejecting misandry by opting out of the institutions that promote it. This phenomea is a big concern for many. Offering scholarships may be one way of slowing this trend down.

But why can scholarships not exist to specifically target them but it is perfectly acceptable to offer scholarships to women in general when a lot do not need any.

No there isn't.

The left wing Frankfurt School notion of "systemic privilege" should be ignored.

Scholarships and organizations in promotion of the majority inherently oppress minorities

Men aren't the majority.

So why not scholarships only for men?

Institutions that promote misandry... Do you have evidence? Can you name any of these institutions?

I do believe the feeling that they are not welcome is part of it. I don't however think it is a big part of it.

Men aren't the majority.

In a discussion of social power dynamics, a power majority is the reference. While population and power majorities often coincide, this is not a discussion of population demographics. It's a discussion of power dynamics.

share that bigger picture for me, because it is too small for me to now recognize

Go ahead and explain how.

Girls grow up being told they can't do science and get lots of discouragement from parents and teachers to be doctors and vets and scientists.

Systemic privilege for men exists.

and they are under-represented 9:1 by the female cohort attending vet school

share with us how the men are so privileged in this instance

You think that the gender gap is worse in the USA yhan else where and should be better in Australia therefore? Unless the numbers have changed, I don't think you are right.

Sure look at the policy surrounding rape at universities. A woman only needs to make the accusation and provide no proof and the man is considered guilty unless he can prove his innocence

A majority population of females in any given "instance" does not negate the existence of male privilege.
