What in your opinion is a terrorist attack?

Do people have different ideas about what a terrorist attack is and how to recognize them? I guess to me a terrorists attack is one where an act is perpetrated to create fear. In the old south the KKK used lynchings and torture to create fear in the hearts of the black population so as to "keep them in their place". Today we have extremists of every type using bombings and shootings to try and force people into doing as the perpetators wish. With Extremist Muslims it is to force through fear countries to either leave the Middle East or to even take over countries, even in the west. Religious extremists in this country bomb abotiion clinis to stop abortions through the use of fear. In the end hopefully our coungtry won't give into fear.

Promoting "fear of terrorists" creates a perceived need for an expanded Police presence and the foundation for a Police State. The Patriot Act put in place all the legal tools to establish the Police State and exagerrated fear by the populace, magnified by MSM exagerrations, becomes the driving force to make the Police State a reality. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning than to be a victim of a foreign terrorist. The 9/11 attack by Saudis on the WTC was a terrorist attack. The shoe bomber was an attempted terrorist atatck. The David Koresh Waco fire was a terrorist attack, but we were the terrorists. Ruby Ridge seemed to be a terrorist attack and once again, we were the terrorists. OKC had no foreign terrorists. Fort Mead had no foreign terrorists. I see the Terror War as a MSM manufactured event. Could someone behind the MSM have an agenda to promote the Terror War for profit. "War is good business, and business is good," seems to be a MIC mantra. That would be any kind of war. Terror, Drug, Immigrant, Hot, or Cold. Sorta like, "pick your poison."
