Paris is spending 20 million euros ($22 million) to build a protective barrier around the Eiffel Tower to replace temporary structures that were put up after a series of terror attacks.
“Sadly, the risk of terrorism hasn’t gone away,” deputy mayor Jean-François Martins said at a Paris press conference. “It’s not a wall, it’s an aesthetic perimeter.”
Martins wouldn’t confirm a report in Thursday’s Le Parisien newspaper that a clear glass structure would be built around the tower’s esplanade. The form the new structure takes will depend on solutions proposed in response to the city’s call for tenders, he said.

Trump is a deeply mentally disturbed person who does not know the difference between truth and lies and is willing to do anything to aggrandize himself. As such he is perhaps the most dangerous person in the entire world since Adolf Hitler ( and screw Godwin and the horse he rode in on) in the last 100 years.

Well given that you can fly into the USA on 1st class ticket and then easily overstay a tourist visa ... it certainly is an aesthetic perimeter.

The disturbed individuals are those lacking the attention span to even read an OP and realize it was a joke, since the comment in question was actually regarding France's decision to build an aesthetic perimeter around the Eiffel tower.

I wasn't aware that Trump lived in Paris, and that he recently changed his name to Jean Francois Martin - but then again I actually read the articles which I post:

By the time they get the wall up Ivanka will have made a deal putting out a no frills bargain basement line of her stuff at the one place where Trump supporters love to shop... and can afford to ..... Walmart.

Not so sure. A couple of years ago we stayed at the new Trump Vegas resort hotel when we got a great rate in a special deal. Aesthetics were not the strong point as the amount of gaudy phony gold was everywhere and it certainly was jarring to say the least. Then they tried to stiff us for a per person "resort fee" to access places like the golf course and spa and health club - even if we were not going to use any of them. I complained loudly about that and they waived it after a manager stepping in.

Not the best of experiences and I can think of a half dozen Vegas strip hotels that I would recommend over the Trump place.
