Trump now attacking Nordstrom's for dropping Ivanka's line of jewelry.

If he's going to subject us to four more years of this utterly absurd behavior, he could at least do us the courtesy of expanding his vocabulary by another 200 words.

He's got some basic prepositions down. He seems stuck with "terrible, great, best, worst, unfair" as far as adjectives go.....

I've never shopped at Nordstroms but I'm thinking about shopping there now. I'm going to go look now to see if they offer online sales.

But if they don't sell ammo, rods and reels, I most likely won't be spending much there.

OMG!! It's a yuppie store with outrageous prices. I'd never shop there anyways.

What happening to him divesting himself from his families business? Thought that he needed a wall between himself and everything his children do to keep himself from violating the constitution in the little farce he set up to keep his business under his control. Couldn't even last a couple weeks before he showed us all how he's willing to use his position to make business better for his family.

No one attacked Ivanka.

Trump isn't every father. He is President of the United States. His actions are out of line, again. He'll probably get sued for, once again, using the bully pulpit in a manner that may affect commerce, business or trade.

Nordstrom has every right to carry or drop merchandise from their inventory no matter whose father might be offended. It's called business. If Ivanka can't handle it she shouldn't be involved. Trump being the bombastic moron that he is doesn't understand that his inability to control his compulsions probably made it muuuuuuch less likely retailers will want to carry Trump products. Who in god's name would want the ****ing hassle of having to worry about being internationally bullied by a maniac with way too much power?

Look for damn near no one adding Trump products, including Ivanka's or Melania's, to their retail inventory. Look for other retailers to start pulling Trump and Trump family products off the shelves.

Ivanka and Melania can thank the Big Orange Bloviator for their sudden and sustained loss of sales.

If you don't think that Trump wasn't using Trumpspeak to tell his supporter's not to patronize Nordstroms, I encourage you to read through this whole thread and see how many of his supporters got that message loud and clear.

I come from a place where "bullie's" are considered socially unacceptable. I think we are just witnessing Dictator Trump only scratching the surface as for how he intends to abuse his newfound power.

I don't have a clue if any of that is true or not. But, it sounds like something Trump would do or say, so it's VERY easy to believe.

But I'd have to fact-check it out before opining.

<self-edit> Okay, I'm back. Actually watched the video and he did, in fact, say this. But a round of laughter followed. I don't think Trump was serious but with his track record, you never know. I try and defend Trump when I think he is right. On this one, while I understand the emotions a father has for a child, he has to remember he is President and on something about her making more or less money he should be silent IMO.

No. Not even remotely. A corporation in a free market made a business decision and dropped her, and that evidently has you quite cross. No one 'went after her'. Her products didn't meet their needs, they dropped her. Why do you hate the freem market, comrade?

It's nothing I'd expect you to understand in terms that aren't based purely on emotion.
