The little-noticed bombshell in Trump's immigration order

I think this is more a slip up, rather than an intentional. Probably thought making it uniform across the board would be an easy way to head off cries of "that's unfair" when he implements the random selection of muslims for screening is no longer random policy. And fails to take into account any negative aspects, such as curbing tourism. Which his hotel business probably enjoys quite a bit of revenue from.

I doubt hed' ever do anything to intentionally hurt his companies bottom line. But **** up big? Well we are talking about the guy who lost a billion dollars in one year...

Pay particular attention to the part about: "You might be a snowflake if you feel the need to riot in order to suppress the free speech of someone who disagrees with you!" (I paraphrased that, but you'll get the point.)

Screening diplomats occurs all the time. Why do you think some are kicked out of the country?

I realize there are some really uninformed and gullible people out there that you are trying to attract, but you shouldn't assume you're going to get much traction outside of that bubble.

It requires the same vetting measures whether diplomat , tourist , or on student visa, etc.
