Its' time to start calling out the leaders on the left about the violent protests

Can you show us any proof that they are anarchists?? From what I've seen, their actions look like classic black bloc tactics, right down to the "dress code". The difference is that these people are working in support off liberals, not as anarchists. That's where they part ways with being "black bloc" and take a direct path to using "black bloc" tactics.

Well nationally I definitely think that politicians,public officials and whoever else with influence should condemn the type of violence that happened at Berkeley when asked about it. Locally most should all be condemning it no matter their lean (Not saying that is not happening, I'm not local so I wouldn't know.) As for pressing any or all them simply because they are dems I see no reason to do that. Just like I have never seen any reason to pressure men, women, christians, muslims, republicans, democrats, blacks, whites etc for the acts some. It's just stupid more negative than it is positive and counterproductive. A dem leader in my neck of the woods has no more in common or to do with the violence in Berkeley than I do.:shrug:

She's an idiot. She's also one person. I can't believe some of the stupid things that have come out of the mouths of Republican lawmakers, including the President. That doesn't make all Republicans responsible for the words of a yahoo.
 
Conservatives have peaceful protests because they are afraid of being out of line and getting arrested.

Because Salafists are Muslims chopping off heads for Muslim reasons, so yeah, it's a bit incumbent upon other Muslims to denounce that action and speak out against it.

But anarchists are not Democrats burning buildings for Democratic reasons....Asking Democrats to come out and apologize for/denounce the actions of anarchists is more like asking Muslims to come out and apologize for/denounce the actions of Sikhs, there just isn't a connection there, and superficial alignments like living the in same general part of the globe and wearing vaguely similar funny hats doesn't place some onus on one to account for the other.

Now, do I disapprove of violence? Yes. And when/if democratic protesters erupt into violence I assure you I will disapprove all day long.

Demings is referring to protests of the travel EO -- protests that were peaceful, unless you can show me evidence to the contrary -- not the violence that occurred in the wake of Milo's event at Berkeley. And nowhere in that quote does she say that riots are a "beautiful sight" -- rather, that young people getting involved is.

This is low-grade hackery, even by your standards.

Specifically named Berzerkly riots, and then goes on as to how it is a beautiful sight to see the young get involved. involved in what? The Berzerkly riots? It was the last thing she named by name.

So not so sure about your liberal interpretation there of her comments.

Agreed Far too many idiots in congress. Need term limits. Need fresh blood in those chambers. Need to remove the destructive and corrupt political elite.

If the people (re-)elect idiots now, why do we think we'll get better results with term limits? We'd (collective we) still elect whoever told us what we want to hear, just like we do now.

Quite true, dat. You'd think that a nation that prided itself on it's independent nature would have a populace that wouldn't do that, now would you?

Anymore, it's what social media dictates on any one subject, that's the opinion that many adopt. Programmable carbon based driods.
