McConaughey wants you to 'embrace' Trump

:lamo Its funny...Im not sure what you typed but the internet correctly interpreted your post as "I'd be happy to answer all of those but for one thing. The truth would make me look like a POS hypocrite. So instead I'll try to say something snarky about you."

Nothing hypocritical about my stance on immigration. You just don't care.

Yeah, I saw this and shrugged.

He's a public figure, he's entitled to his opinion, and I have no problems with him speaking his mind. In turn, I'm entitled to disagree with him.

Isn't America great? Oh wait, we have to wait at least another 6 months before we can say that, right?

Agreed on all counts. All I wanted to do was to weigh in.

Well now, how would I know? I mean...its not like you entered into a 'dialogue' about it. You just whined.

Hey there, Matt:

I was hoping to meet you down in Kilgore, Texas for a barbecue (as long as you don't take your shirt off) to talk with you, but since my invite probably got lost in the mail, I'll just write my note here.

I accept that Donald Trump is the president now. Can't say that I "embrace" the fact, since I'm disappointed that he was elected, but I'm not going to deny reality (unlike his backers).

As for "working with him," I'll tell you what. As long as he advances proposals and backs laws that benefit everyone in this country, and not just billionaires, I will be more than happy to work with him. But if he does things that are destructive to the interests of the American people, you'd better believe I'm going to oppose him. I'll even support his impeachment if it's justified. When it comes to policy questions, what you think doesn't mean a damn thing to me.

Alright alright,

I believe that the man is taking his character in those Lincoln commercials a bit too seriously right now.

Might not be a character at all. I'm willing to accept what he says (in one of the ads) that he just likes that particular car. I have a thing for Jaguars, myself.
