Interesting perspective on Donald Trump from longtime friend Howard Stern

Do you have any idea how utterly idiotic this sounds? Wow.....

Yeah, crazy how he would be campaigning in Texas and Mississippi towards the end of the election, right?

He worked awfully damn hard for someone who didn't want to win.

This sounds like the same crap we heard during the election cycle.

Of course we find ourselves in a world where no reporting or opinion or press or observation critical of Trump can possibly be accurate or incisive or true, any and all such critiques of the dear leader are nothing but propaganda and hate from liberal puppets and political rivals. Long live the Dear Leader.

He won the election, so obviously his campaign strategy worked. Duh.

His message worked. But that has nothing to do with his campaign route.

Okay, what part of, HE WON THE ELECTION, are you having trouble with?

What part of "he won despite making dumb campaign decisions" are you have trouble with?

Uh oh. Has Howard Stern been co-opted by the Vast Liberal Conspiracy?

He's saying negative sounds things about Trump, so, it's either conspiracy, Fake News, or dirty scheme. Clearly.

Yeah, he sure sounds like a long-term friend...

Stern's just pissed that he didn't think of running president first.

Did you see his last 6 weeks of schedule before the election? Trump put in more work to win than anyone else in living memory, not to mention over $60 million of his own money. If Stern wants to be taken seriously he needs to do much better than this drive by condemnation of his alleged friend Trump.

Ah. CNN, the cesspool of fake news. Friend? I would question if the interview even took place. Andrew Kaczynski, the BuzzFeed "wunderkind".Dog whistle to the targeted members of the pack. CNN, desperate to par it's audience down to anyone who will listen and respond to their click bait.

Seriously, people?

It'd be easy to say "who the hell cares what Howard Stern thinks, because Howard Stern. Duh". Instead we've got to go with it's a ploy, it's a conspiracy to hurt Trump, it's just the media lying because they don't like him, yadda yadda yadda.

At this rate, I would not be surprised if Trump filmed himself signing an affidavit swearing under pains and penalties of perjury that he's a raging ****head, and his supporters still found some way to ignore it.

More like "Stern had to say something negative about Trump if he wanted to stay in the good graces of his fellow elites, because this Rebellion has to go down hard in their opinion".

"Stern and Trump are long-time friends, with Trump making numerous appearances on Stern's radio show over the years.

"I personally wish that he had never run, I told him that, because I actually think this is something that is gonna be detrimental to his mental health too, because, he wants to be liked, he wants to be loved," Stern said....

"I don't think it's going to be a healthy experience. And by the way, he's now on this anti-Hollywood kick. He loves Hollywood. First of all, he loves the press. He lives for it. He loves people in Hollywood. He only wants to hobnob with them. All of this hatred and stuff directed towards him by them. It's not good for him. It's not good.

...Stern said he considers Trump a friend, but is opposed to his politics.

"I like Donald very much personally. I was shocked when he decided to run for president, and even more shocked that sort of, people took it seriously," Stern said.

"I remember saying to him when he announced his presidency, I remember being quite amazed, because I remember him being for Hillary Clinton," Stern added.

"And I remember him being very--I mean he was pro-abortion. So the new Donald Trump kind of surprised me."

Stern said he doesn't believe Trump has had a change of heart on issues like abortion, but is instead playing to his base.

The radio host said he also believed Trump ran for president solely to get a larger contract from NBC for "The Apprentice."

"I think it started out as like a kinda cool, fun thing to do in order to get a couple more bucks out of NBC for The Apprentice, I actually do believe that," Stern said.

"He just wanted a couple more bucks out of NBC, and that is why Donald is calling for voter fraud investigations. He's pissed he actually won. He didn't think people would take his candidacy this seriously. He still wants Hillary Clinton to win. He's so f—ing pissed, he's probably still hoping that he can find some voter fraud and hand it over to Hillary."
Howard Stern: Trump wants to be loved, presidency will be 'detrimental' to his mental health - Feb. 2, 2017

Howard Stern is a ******* ******** .............. sorry I could not say that here ................... let him remain friends with the Twitter In Chief ............. they belong together ..........

Listen to Donald Trump supporting Hillary in the Democratic party primaries in 2008:

""Hillary Clinton said she'd consider naming Barack Obama as her vice-president when she gets the nomination, but she's nowhere near a shoo-in. For his part, Obama said he's just focused on winning the nomination, although at least one member of his team said Clinton would make a good vice-president. (I know Hillary and I think she'd make a great president or vice-president.)," Trump wrote....

"Hillary is smart, tough and a very nice person, so is her husband. Bill Clinton was a great president. They are fine people. Hillary was roughed up by the media, and it was a tough campaign for her, but she's a great trooper. Her history is far from being over," he said. "

That's the beauty of a populist. Believe it or not his supporters are enamored of HIM not some silly policy or complex plan. That means no matter what he does it must be good because it's from him. We are not used to that sort of leader but ask the Latinos and they know what he is. They promise the world and deliver nothing but pain. Central and South America are full of them.

Actually, he worked pretty hard to NOT win. During the campaign he was consistently criticized for returning to solid Red States like Texas and Mississippi when he should have been in Swing States. Obviously, none of that really matters now since he won anyway but some of his campaign moves are still head-scratchers.

I do believe Stern when he says Trump just wanted to make more money and loves the spotlight (many, if not most, candidates do it). Don't believe for a second he wanted to give up his real estate empire to be in charge of national security. While, for him, there is the plus of being adored by the Alt-Right (feeds his narcissism), the criticism absolutely crushes his ego (so we get the childlike lashing out at individuals and the media).

What it does imply is that many in the electorate are just to stupid to vote

IMO, there's probably some truth to what Stern is saying. But it's possible that as the campaign went on and Trump saw that he had a real shot at winning, the idea of being POTUS increasingly appealed to him and he decided to really go for it.

I remain very concerned about how Trump's need for approval, ratings, and winning, and his associated oversensitivity to criticism and perceived disloyalty, will affect his judgment and decision-making.

I know that many conservatives will reflexively jump to defend Trump, but consider that there could be some truth to what Stern is saying. Country before party ...

Can't speak for the others, but I certainly understand you think President Trump is a ****head.

I don't have a problem with that.

I think Hillary is a raging *****, and EX President Obama a narcissistic ****wad.

It's all good.

My deal is that your partners in the MSM are supreme ****wads, and I'm going to call them out on it. Stern is an obnoxious jerk, so I don't care what the guy says. He is a carnival barker. You're welcome to hang on his every word.
