UC Berkley riots.[W:68]

Re: UC Berkley riots.

Legitimate source, please. None of the major networks are even mentioning this.

Why would that surprise you?

If it were a liberal speaker and conservative protesters engaged in this behavior, the networks would interrupt their programming to report on it.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

These students are an embarrassment.

Funny how an institution of learning can produce so much stupidity.

It's the day and age of fake news. I trust very few claims at a whim now.

But I am watching it live right now. What these anarchists are doing is stupid for a number of reasons. Starting literal fires and damaging property does not constitute a nonviolent protest. A peaceful protest, like the ones held at airports last weekend and all over the nation the weekend before, would have been far preferable.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

Yeah. Fighting a hateful person with property damage doesn't help. There are better ways to get a point across.

My worry is that these sorts of troublemaking actions are just going to grow in frequency and magnitude as we march into the spring and especially the summer. I fear that this will be a long, hot summer. Anarchists and fascists do not tend to be the best of friends.

Do not call Terrorists, Anarchists. You do not know the meaning of Anarchists.

You have no authority over my choice of words, and I reject your absurd attempt to try it.

Which leaves the rest of us to question why you are not more pissed off.

So you're going to psychoanalyze tonight's resident liberal despite the fact that he has already condemned these actions?

I'm not going to play this game. We will henceforth be talking about this destructive protest. Period.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

Violent protesters stifling speech carrying anti fascist signs. Go figure.

I love it when right wing-nuts get catfished by fake news. Another "pizzagate" here we come!

Re: UC Berkley riots.

The liberals feel perfectly justified denying the rights of others if they call them haters. What a delusional bunch of tyrants these terrorists have become. Liberals are the haters, they are just too hypocritical and dishonest to admit any truth whatsoever.

Brah, I sure do hope the Department of Homeland Security has got their eye on you.

You're kinda scary. And not in a good way.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

It's hard to tell what's going on on the ground from this helicopter view. There's a small area where protesters are holding up a sign that says "become ingovernable", and near that someone is holding a flare. A lot of people in the area, probably curious as to what the hell is going on. Doesn't seem very organized outside that small group.

Let's hope this thing dissipates within the hour.

I don't think the protest will keep them away from their video games for too long.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

The police presence is far lighter than I thought it would have been for now. The newscast reports that the cops may be giving civilians a chance to disperse before they move in to break things up. A grace period that these onlookers need to take advantage of, IMO.

Also, there are a hell of a lot of people wearing black shirts.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

Happening now. Wanted to post in breaking news but could find no MSM links yet.

Update:

The dark clouds have advanced over the horizon.

Batter down people.

Here it comes.

You might want to find your underwear drawer for some clean ones.

Re: UC Berkley riots.

The civilized response to speech is speech, not fire, or riots.

But then the modern US left is barbaric.

We should be ashamed.

BE BETTER!

any one going to make a distinction between people that protested leaglay and those that damaged property?

Re: UC Berkley riots.

Am I the only one that simply enjoyed College by learning a few things and doing a bunch of stupid ****?

Re: UC Berkley riots.

Tucker Carlson interviews Milo as riots take place:
