Californians compete for a rare prize: a blue-collar union job paying up to $200,000

Re: Californians compete for a rare prize: a blue-collar union job paying up to $200,

Blue collar is a category of job, not the salary that the job pays.
I am aware of what "blue collar" means.
Again.
An average of $161,000 with full benefits isn't blue collar as far as I am concerned, though extortionist sounds about right.

As extortionists they wouldn't be blue collar.

A crane operator, 200 feet in the air and responsible for off loading billions in cargo, should be well-compensated.
Not to the tune of $161,000 with full benefits.

I wasn't aware that extortionists had gotten a collar color.

Says who?

Why do you hate the idea of people making good money? Or can they only make good money in professions you deem worthy?

 That's nice.

Says who?
I believe I said; "As far as I am concerned."

Yep, there it is right there in posts #41 and #51.

.... as far as I am concerned, ...
As pointed out to you.
... as far as I am concerned, ...
Go figure, huh?
Or are you saying you do not know what that phraseology means?

Why do you hate the idea of people making good money? Or can they only make good money in professions you deem worthy?
Why do you make up things to believe? In other words; Straw-man much?

Good-money is one thing, over compensation for manual labor. as well as over compensation for manual labor as a result of extortion is another.
