Democratic senators held an abruptly called briefing for reporters outside the hearing room. They said they were demanding more information about the two nominees, GOP Georgia Rep. Tom Price to be Health secretary and financier Steve Mnuchin to head the Treasury Department.

That's what they get for throwing a political temper tantrum holding up Obama's pick for SCOTUS. The GOP has set the tone for obstruct obstruct obstruct. Now they get the same dose.

After the manner in which Trump's cabinet influenced his Muslim Ban roll-out, I think closer examination of his people is well warranted.

But after this weekend's events, I believe it's Trump's picks that deserve the extreme vetting.

You are accurate in that: Exceptions are given to those countries where the Trump family has business interests, or where successful terrorists actually come from.

It was ridiculous. A PR stunt. He's still campaigning.

Yes, but the GOP is too freaked-out by Trump's power to come-out much against him.

But I do believe the method Trump used to sneak the Muslim Ban out, has highly alienated many GOP. Which is why I believe enough may eventually flip and join the Dems in impeaching him. I believe every Dem would be onboard, so now it comes to picking-off the McCains & Grahams. If Ryan can be gotten onboard, it's all over. Well, one can hope.

dem's used the nuclear option to approve Obama's cabinet.
