Perhaps if Trump had sat down with some experts, rather that Rudy freakin' Giuliani, he could have gotten some helpful advice about how to restructure immigration policy in a way that wouldn't alarm every constitutional lawyer in the nation.

But no... Trump knows better. So this is our new president's M.O.

Here I thought Obama was Constitutional scholar and his EO was constitutional. The Dons is the same EO. They weren't up in arms then. I wonder why they are now?

Do yourself a favor. Read them yourself. Don't trust any news organization or fact checker these days. They all have angles and axes. The EO's are relatively short. They are essentially the same with different minor emphasis. The main difference being persecuted minorities in the countries in question would have better chances of making their cases. Like the yazidi's who were being systematically exterminated.

The "slack jawed yokels" are the ones who can only think of Pres. Trump as a reality TV star and forget about the guy who a reputation for hiring the best and brightest people, regardless of gender, ethnicity, etc. Pres. Trump is truly post-racist/post-sexist, but you've been told that he's a racist and sexist and since those ideas fuel the hate, they are accepted and reality and truth are rejected.

So what if they didn't? These are hardly the first people inconvenienced by security at airports. You could argue that Trumps EO wasn't thought out all that well with regard to how it would impact those on there way here, but the EO's between he and Obama are essentially the same.

I am a busy guy. I don't work on your schedule.

I think you know why the detentions. Its because the roll out was fubared from the get go. Its what happens if you don't coordinate with the bureaucracy. All those people were caught up in a bureaucratic snafu. Notice they all got to their destinations eventually.

No one did more to break the glass ceiling (in multiple areas) than Pres. Trump. But that's just facts and truth and since they aren't in line with your DNC approved thoughts, they will be rejected.

Actually, that would be correct. I have nothing against putting people from those 7 countries on a "watch list" or even keeping them out completely. Those places are a mess.

Trumps ACTION, not the EO was different. He moved too fast to implement, without warning and the bureaucracy tripped him up. That's what happened. Then everyone decided it was a good time to jump Trump. The EO itself is reasonable to be honest. Its definitely NOT a Muslim ban by any means.

Reading is your friend. Where did you read that I said the EO and its implementation were the same thing. They are not. I said the EO's were the same. That was my primary point. The actions to implement them are dramatically different.
