What a Sorry Ex-President

Keeping terrorists and criminals out of the US is bad? Getting control of our borders is bad? What are you calling indefensible? That's actually happening, I mean.

Trump temporarily bans immigration from 7 Muslim countries out of the 50 majority Muslim countries in the world, and the left goes ape-****. Why do I feel like this is all being done in bad faith?

Not to mention that those seven countries are countries identified by the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION as the seven countries actively harboring terrorist groups and exporting terrorism. The Trump Administration did not choose them arbitrarily.

When Obama ordered a moratorium on Iraqi refugees for a period of six months after Al Qaida members posing as Iraqi refugees were arrested in Kentucky, the left did not murmur a word of protest. I suppose we have to let some terrorists in before a moratorium--which is a TEMPORARY thing by the way--is declared by the Trump administration. Somehow, I think a hundred arrested terrorists wouldn't bother the Left who would accuse Trump of making a mountain out of a molehill.

Myself, I prefer that the terrorists be kept out of the country in the first place. But that's just me.

I think it would be better if Obama followed GWB's model. Hope he never gets as bad as Cheney. I would think Obama would have more class than that.

Basically. From 2000-2006. Then GWB stopped listening to the idiot.

But wasn't it in 2007 and 2008 that everything started to go to hell? (Never mind that those were the only two years of the Bush administration in which the Democrats had control of Congress.) If your opinion is right, Cheney was the glue holding it all together until Bush threw him under the bus. And that was a good thing?

Sometimes these speculative theories get so ridiculous that they would be so comical if they didn't so sadly misrepresent the truths of any given situation.

Trump is acting EXACTLY like a CEO and why would anyone be surprised by this? It's as if people somehow believed that once in office he would pivot away from everything he has ever known about being in charge and suddenly become a politician.

Is there anyone here who is not familiar with the term "action item"? In the corporate world, and action item is anything that requires action on the part of the person it is assigned to. Basically, Trump is looking at his campaign promises as a list of action items and he is checking them off one at a time.

He is acting "EXACTLY like a CEO" who has been responsible for multiple bankruptcies... like a CEO who has has to pay civil penalties for defrauding his clients.

Oh wait... he isn't "acting" at all.

Because he did so without consulting the various governmental entities with the job of reviewing such material for legality and unintended consequences, like having legal visa/green card citizens sent back to their country of origin, where in many cases they have already escaped persecution and/or have a price on their head! Good lord, man! He put these people's lives in jeopardy, people who had already undergone years of vetting to get here in the first place.

Also, he exempted from the ban Christians specifically, which brought potentially unconstitutional religious persecution into the mix, and did not include Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other countries which have supported terrorists who did indeed attack Americans on US soil, and with which, btw, he has personal and financial business ties.

Adding to this hot mess, he didn't inform any of the people in border control, customs, or airport officials around the world of what he was doing, causing mass chaos and people being detained in airports for up to 48 hours.

Again, you are defending the indefensible.

They only have 7.99 more years of President Trump........ was that more heads exploding ?  :2wave:
Don't you just love it?

They are sitting there hooked on Trump's every move, listening to every breath he takes...its like watching a pot waiting for it to boil ...just exteeeeeeeeending the time of their pain. Masochistic really. And just how excruciating must that pain be... but they just cannot stop doing it, simply unable to resist Trump's Palin on steroids style allure to libs.

I mean its quite apparent that they, deep down, just love to hate.

Ha ha ha, and inflicting the O bomb on us for 8 long years, nobody deserves Trump more than they.

Cheney was the President? When did that happen?

Actually Cheney Was the Supreme Boss despite what the decider said. So I take it you don't have issue with Binden running around and criticize the Twitter President!?

I know right?

If Trump keeps on these next two years waving his "magic wand" and jobs return, the swamp slowly but surely squeezes the dank lobbyist cesspools dry, if the death cult is exorcised from depths of our major urban hell zones and the wombs of our young women... all those mostly Democrat Sentate seats will fall like cheerful dominoes.

Makes the heart sing. Like we were always told, but with the long drought found it increasingly hard to believe... apparently good does ultimately triumph, or in this case Trump, over evil.

All we really have to do is continue to endure their empty insults. Easy enough after years of practice.

President Bush 41 or 43 did not go public with criticism of Obama or his policies. And I imagine that both were personally choking on some of the worst of those policies. But you never heard that from either of them.

I wasn't a big fan of Bush but I have to admit it showed a ton of restraint. Despite Obama's attacks, he refused to speak ill of the man. I saw a video clip of Hannity trying desperately to get some response out of him and he declined out of respect for the position.
