you distorted what he said. typical dishonest post. classic kremlin basement foolishness.

If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That’s not leadership.

If you’re complaining about the price of gas and you’re only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know,” Obama said laughingly. “You might want to think about a trade-in.” “Well, you definitely need a hybrid van then.

I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.

The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.

I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money.

He has to be 1 or the other.

Unless he is really this ignorant about economics and politics, and/or he's just plain dishonest. I hate to believe that about anyone, but I guess it is possible.

You didn't comment on the definitions.

I wonder why?

Economics... the ignorant one was replaced on Saturday, January 20, 2017. He's now 3-putting, chili-dipping and shanking his brains out in Palm Springs... LOL... Sorta a good summary of his 8-years in power.

I'll take F.A. Hayek, Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams and the like as examples of people who have great economic ideas. Obama... well... we've seen what his reign of error has wrought.

HE DID!!! From the Original Post.
So explain how open borders is in anyway a 'Communist agenda'? Communism actually promotes the opposite. The Russians built a wall in Berlin to keep their people IN. That's hardly 'open'.

If you were a light bulb, you wouldn't shine much light now would you?
I did not say that, you are reading it that way because you want to. Some will read it correctly.

1). He supports open borders (fact)
2). He supports a Communist agenda (my opinion)

Take a deep breath, and after the pot wears off....then go read it again.

Those are two separate things the CEO appears to support.

Why do you need a political agenda to oppose Starbucks? Their coffee is overpriced and not particularly good.

Mainly because the CEO clearly has one. But I agree with the product assessment.

Personally, I dont have the time nor desire to keep track of all the moronic **** different people, corporate execs, politicians, actors, etc do to use as a schedule to run my life. If I want coffee, I'll go to Duncan Donuts or the good ole 7-11, because frankly I prefer their coffee. But sometimes I do go to the Starbucks drive thru and when I do I always pay for the person behind me.
Its different if its a local business. But even then, it depends. We can disagree and people even have the right to put their money behind their opinion. Why would I boycott someone for having values and standards that are different from mine? I respect them for at least being consistent in their application.

Why would you boycott someone for having values and standards that are different from yours? Poor thing. You're so privileged you cant think straight or see reality.
Because the PATH to hell is not always ugly.... early on.
ISIS has values and standards that are different from yours....and they pledge to come to YOUR neighborhood eventually.
This relates because people who support the wrong agendas are weakening our society, economy and military which protects you.

Checkmate.

At first they came for the Communists....

PS...there are a LOT of people "boycotting" our lawfully elected Prez btw. Just sayin.

We arent talking about battling ISIS...we are talking about battling Starbucks.

Fight the power, baby.

Oh...Parts of a Communist agenda.....but not necessarily ALL parts of a Communist agenda

Supports open borders, the Communist agenda and is proud of it

You linked communism and open borders in your 1st post, so now you are being dishonest. But also like almost all Cons, have no idea what you're talking about when you mention Socialism or Communism. You just throw the words out there to try and scare other people who like you have no idea what they mean.

And even THIS post proves it.

How is anything this CEO doing 'supporting communism'? NOTHING. So again you are proving you have no idea what communism is, or what you are talking about. Your 'opinion' is BS and nonsense.

Supporting these firms is supporting the Leftist, Globalist agenda.
If you patronize these organizations, or don't care....you aren't really concerned about Americas future or the Constitution

I'll start off with Starbucks...

1). Starbucks

Reason - Supports open borders, the Communist agenda and is proud of it - even though profiting wildly off the American way

I find it sufficient to avoid Starbucks because of bitter, burned, overpriced coffee. Who needs a political reason.

You have no clue where all this "stuff" going on in America is leading can you?
Do you have any idea how societies collapse? Study Rome.

A House divided cannot stand...guess what famous person wisely said that?

Proves no such thing and you're grabbing for straws. Entertaining watching you squirm trying.
Your closed mindedness and horse blinders allows you to see exactly and only exactly what you want to.
Ostrich syndrome to be precise.

Look, I get that you hate America and that you probably are one of those afraid of Donald Trump,
but that doesn't mean everything anyone who does not agree with your twisted, America destroying ideology says is wrong or inaccurate.

And relax...I'm using "Communist" in a metaphorical sense....as in...evil...bad for the people kinda sense.

But that flew so far over your head....I know.

;)

The collapse of the US will come from a collapse in societal values...not from shopping at Starbucks.

That was one of those "Property Brothers" guys...right?

Does it not take money...and lots of it to push an agenda? So, yeah...it does come from cash flowing into those hands.

And thanks...I think you just gave me another really cool sig line :2wave:

Awesome. I hope you wear it well. Make sure you link to this thread so people can see context and how inane your comments are.

Be specific....WHICH Republicans went all "Commie" and when?

So now you say it was Conservatives who pushed the Free Trade agenda? hmmmm
Who signed NAFTA into law? Which "Republican"?

This is funny....sad....but funny

lol.
Instead of getting angry and taking your ball and going home, why not point out which comment(s) you feel is "inane" and why?
Let me guess...ALL of them...

I can discuss like a grown up....can you?

Really? You think your comments are 'grown up'? I posted my comments as to why I think you prattling on about your product boycott is silly. You think its the end of the world.

Yeah...theres not much room for 'discussion' there.

Where did I say it was "the end of the world"? Granted, I certainly do not think the left has a nation healthy attitude by and large.

Yes, you posted your comments and I replied.....the problem is .....???

Ok which of my comments are silly and immature. Please point it out.

I'm big enough to retract and apologize if you can show me where I went wrong.

Stop. You are embarrassing yourself.

Ok so you have nothing. You feel defeated so you're taking the cheap path out.

Ok. No problem

I think you're saying you see no problems with our nation? If so, that's a bit disturbing.

Not only is the Radical Islamic movement a threat to Americans, Iran is a growing threat.
Is it the end of the world? Well, not yet....but it's a serious situation.

And my analogies were to tie the end result of supporting those who do not see the dangers of being blind to the threats to America. As you are currently demonstrating imo.

Supporting the wrong pockets can be hazardous to America. THAT was the point of the OP.
