Apparently I'm lucky because I'm in what xfinitiy just told me a "trial market" for my internet. What are they testing you say?
DATA CAPS BABY!
We are now data capped at 1.024TB of data usage per month. How do I know this? Because now when you use more than that, you get a nice friendly window that pops up in your browser from xfinity and lets you know. From there, you get charged for a 50gb bundle for $10 more. And another $10 for the next 50GB you go over.
So go out and buy some lube to prepare yourself fellow comcast customers. My other option for internet you ask? Centurylink. Whose top speed in my area is 20mbps. I'm currently on xfinity at 200mbps. And no, buying faster plans does not get you a higher cap.
As for you centurylink customers, I just googled "centurylink datacap" and guess what? They are running a test market for data usage billing their customers too.
I can't thank you conservatives and your representatives enough for all you do working hard to scrap net neutrailty and to always back the monopoly over the customer. Appreciate it! Can't wait for you to join me in this brave new internet world you helped create.
Next step... billing me more for what sites I prefer to go to.

IMPORTANT: Internet and data usage limits only apply to customers who are part of a usage-based billing trial for CenturyLink® High-Speed Internet subscribers in Yakima, Washington.
