Funny if it wasn't so sad. Schumer needs to go back to The NYC Bad Acting School. Isn't Ben Affleck the director of that school?

What is truly sick, is the Senate Minority Leader cares so little about the safety of American citizens.

Schumer gins up discontent instead of honestly explaining what is happening to the followers of his party. But hey... he's a Demokrat... their top leader no less (facepalm). A depleted party desperately seeking a way to become relevant.

You obviously were deaf during the election... he said often... "extreme vetting', "Make America Safe Again", and "we're going to Build That Wall".

Perhaps they have a way to vet those in SA? Perhaps there is documentation of their citizens. Perhaps they have good cooperation with the Saudi's on this.

I hope someone in the WH Press Corpse asks Sean Spicer. It's a good question, and I'm sure he can answer it. I heard a retired General today speak about this, but was only listening with half an ear.

LOL @ the lefts sudden panic at those who have any relation at all with the Saudis when Hillary Clinton took tons of cash from them during the campaign.

I don't approve of anyone taking money or being in the Saudis pocket, but don't be a partisan idiot.

The sad thing is that the leftist MSM and their lapdog audience conveniently leave out the part that no "Muslims" were banned because they are Muslim. Everybody was temporarily banned from seven countries that knowingly harbor terrorists and that export terrorism. Temporarily so that Trump could get the proper extreme vetting into place--something he promised to do if elected--before we risk bringing in any more terrorists among us.

And they mostly conveniently leave out the 'temporary' as in 90 or 120 days out of their hysterical rhetoric because it is so much more condemning and hateful if they make it look like a new U.S. policy.

This National Review article puts ALL the facts about this out there. And, as they point out in the article, the ONLY real problem with Trump's policy is the perceived temporarily banning of green card holders who have already been vetted to the inth degree. And if in fact that was not the intention and is simply a misapplication of the intended policy, Trump should clarify that post haste as it indeed is an injustice.

I don't necessarily have a problem with the Saudis, but if the goal is to prevent terrorism, why would you leave off the home countries of Bin Laden, most of the 9/11 hijackers and Khalid Sheik Mohammed (from Pakistan, also not on the list)?

So, okay, he stole the list from Obama. If Obama was such a failure, why follow his lead?

Who's to say changes won't be made in the future? This is just a temporary ban from certain high-threat places in the ME in 2017, not 2001.

Perhaps he did? Not sure would have to look into it. In any case, Trump did in 8 days what Obama wouldn't in 8 years which I would call a success.

And? Trump picked 7 countries out of a list of 40. What is your point? Most of the 9-11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia by the way.

The party will probably survive, but as I said, the party Chuck "knows and loves" meaning the politically correct b.s., looks as if it's coming to an end. Trump is basically a lumberjack taking Babe Ruth swings with a sharp axe at your p.c. tree and all you can do is freak out, cry, and create as much fake news as possible in hopes of holding off what seems to be the inevitable demise of the philosophy that's kept most of your bureaucrats in power.

I'm not sure anyone's rejoicing that isn't a political hack. But I'm sure there must be some hacks that are on the one hand rejoicing at Trump's actions from a supportive viewpoint, and hacks that are on the other hand rejoicing at Trump's actions from a "see I told you he was evil" standpoint. We've seen both in just this thread alone.

Good questions. My point? Sure -- Your earlier post said that the Saudis weren't on the list because they do business with Trump. I was simply demonstrating the lack of critical thought that went into such a simplistically ignorant statement in that post. I was sure if you realized that Obama had chosen the same countries for the same reasons, but didn't follow through as Trump had done, that you may reevaluate posting such statements again without forethought.

What I didn't say, was how I feel about the situation, just how there was more to this situation than insinuating that Trump's foreign policy is driven by evil greed. If you wish to know my personal feelings regarding the Saudi family, their country, their madrasas, their financing and supporting of terrorism, then I suggest you read some of my other posts across the last few years, or better yet, politely ask me what I think of the Saudis or this travel halt from 7 other dangerous countries and I would be glad to politely answer.

Where did he or anyone associated with him say they would go against Obama "at every chance"?

I heard they would keep what would be useful, but most of Obama's stuff would be scrapped.

As most of Obama's "stuff" is diametrically opposed to Trump's vision for putting America First, Obama's legacy gets flushed.
