Republicans have been denying that they're republicans since before the 2006 election.

Your positions on the issues side with posters who defended the unprecedented obstruction from the GOP on the 9th Justice, let alone the highest number of filibusters per year for each of the 8 years .
Im not a republican but that really isnt important. I said that it was a purely political tactic blocking garland and if the shoe were on the other foot the dems would of done the same thing and made the same argument.

Dems are free to block whoever trump nominates and they do so at their own peril when the midterms get here just as if the gop uses the nuclear option it is at their own peril. Each party will do what they do and the voters will be their judge.

Im personally torn on the issue because i perfer a court that defends peoples individual rights. I have not seen enough of that from either partys nominees. Too much govermental authoritarianism coming out both sides of the court. Ove become toward thinking that both sides will choose someone who wont protect infividuals rights over gov authority.
