Islamosceptic Iranians are a smaller minority than Jews were in 1930 Austria ( 2.8% in the whole country 10.8% in Vienna) or Germany.

But it wasn't really an uprising and did not even dent the hard-line Islamic regime. Some its perceived 'leaders' were severely punished I seem to recall - it may be a long time before we see a repeat.

Incorrect they are state sponsors against a single ally, israel. Their list included hamas hezbollah and palestinian liberation front. Last I recall none of these were attackig the us.

They are infact opposed to practically every other terrorist org, including al quaeda and isis, which want a sunni rule and to eradicate all non sunni's, which last I checked iran was under shia rule with a shia majority.

They are the most western and liberal muslim run country, what do they need to change? Should they end their protection of christians and jews? Should they stop prosecuting child molestation as a crime and instead call the child a slut and stone her to death like saudi arabia? Should they end a constitution that pales at our but beats the crap out of every other muslim nation in terms of rights?

It seems the only thing to me they need to change is their support of hamas and hezbollah, the rest of what they do beats other muslim countries by miles.

Afterthought. They have worked out how to destroy the countries of Western Europe though. By creeping Islamisation.

Wrong again. Conservatives believe in individual freedom. Something which does not exist in Iran, where saying the wrong thin can get you hung - even if you happen to be a thirteen year old girl with learning difficulties. To make his point clear it was an Imam who placed noose round her neck before she was hauled up by a crane in a public square.

Wrong. Conservatives believe in the importance of the state over the rights of the individual. Conservatives will always support more power for the police, more power for the state, more laws. Liberals have always fought for the rights and freedoms of the individual and it's conservatives they've always had to fight against.
The last fight was gay rights. The next one will be assisted suicide. Conservatives will rely on the state to supress that right, too, and liberals will fight for it.

Do you see how lazy and nonsensical that is? If you can't argue against their substance just group them in with a dictatorship and pretend you won the argument.
