IMO, all this does is hurt their cause. The idea of a government department having an official account is to have legitimacy. By having all these alternative accounts it actually de-legitimizes their positions and findings since anyone with an email account can "claim" it's them.

I agree but another aspect of it is how the Trump transition is mishandling their objectives I expect more of this bureaucratic demonstrating to grow As Trump reshapes the government

So you don't support this activity, right? It hurts the agencies, raises tensions, solves nothing except for some juvenile need to express oneself.
