You bring up the recount request ..... I know of no recount in history that was requested by the initial winner of the election results. Do you?

many die hard liberal loonies claim Trump is not legitimate. They claim he didn't win the popular vote.Those same **** tards claim Russian hacked some emails and released them for all the see as though nobody knew Clinton was piece of **** before those emails or that Comey letter encourage people who already knew that Clinton was a piece of **** to either stay home or vote for Trump or somebody else. So if hypothetically Trump proved that he won the popular vote then one of those groups of **** tards would have to shut the hell up.

You think his obsession with that is what is motivating this federal investigation?????? The man is so insecure about his own validity that he has to go to great lengths to squash any even unofficial challenge to the perception of his own legitimacy??????

It seems to me with these close elections, a concentrated investigation makes sense, especially since our voting process is so lax.

As was stated in the last sentence, if there is nothing to worry about, no action will be taken, and the issue can be put to bed for now.

Ocean, this startling news brought to our attention by Trump means that our entire system has been a mockery, a fake process. While Trump cries foul, even after he won, what possible evidence is he using to initiate such an undertaking? What U.S. Agency or State Agencies have come forward with evidence that would actually prove that make our voting system has been unstable for a rather long time?

This is going to be a costly endeavor.

You and I don't agree on the presence of Trump as president, but there are issues that have come forward since the election that just don't add up from Trump's claims.

Those people are conspiracy theorists. CTers don't shut up in the face of evidence. The best way to handle CTers is to ignore them. But Trump doesn't get that because he is a CTer in his own right.

Considering how close and contentious elections have been, I think it's wise to look into the issue.

Many news organizations looked into registration fraud prior to November 8 and found considerable evidence of fraudulent registration.

Since there is no formal universal process to investigate whether those registrations turned into votes, it's hard to say what happened.

The fact there have been few convictions for voter fraud does not mean it doesn't exist. As it is now, there has been little effort to look into it.

An analogy would be to look at how many cars travel on the nations highways and relate that to the number of speeding tickets issued. One could conclude few drivers exceed the speed limit, when in truth, pretty much all drivers exceed the speed limit.

If nothing comes from an investigation, then President Trump will have to eat his words. If something does come from the investigation, then steps can be taken to correct the process.

Again, given the level of acrimony currently in place, it might be good for the Nation to spend the money to learn the facts, as best they can.

Let's presume that the investigation goes forward, the results show that fraud did occur, that Clinton actually should have won the necessary number of electoral votes and that the results of that investigation are made public.

Then what? What could possibly change? Is there any Constitutional process to remove a sitting president after the electors have voted, the House counted and affirmed the votes and the winner was inaugurated?
 
I think there should be an independent investigation in all 50 states. It will either prove that there were in fact 3-5 million fraudulent votes, or that Trump is using "alternative facts" and he needs to be held accountable for his lies.

Call your congress critter, and your secretary of state to demand an investigation.

There is no way to thoroughly investigate the amount of voter fraud in the US. The districts, States and other know this all to well and this is why it happens. To suggest there is no voter fraud is complete nonsense, this fraud has been going on since our very first presidential election with George Washington.

The question is how many votes, do I believe It’s 5 million, I doubt it. But do I believe it’s far to prevalent, you bet I do. And not to be overly partisan, we all know which party excels with this maneuver in there playbook of tricks.

The biggest offenders are the blue states and the heavily weighted democratic urban districts. Some of the voting shenanigans is so blatant that not one competing party vote will be tallied, that’s borderline mathematically impossible.

There is a solution for this, and It’s a simple fix, a voter ID or state ID, issued free of charges. The argument from the left is as lame and shallow as it gets, they contend it restricts minorities/immigrants and the poor from voting. Trust me when I say this, If you are poor and need assistance from government programs you need identification to receive them. If you are an immigrant your permanent citizen documents are kept as important. If you just hold a green card you absolutely shouldn’t be allowed to vote. And I’m pretty darn sure if your skin tone or ethnicity is different than white caucasian you sorted out having an ID long before voting day.

Why is this simple fix fought against so hard by the left? Well, they know it takes an important play and tactic out of their playbook. As I stated in the first sentence, there is no way to thoroughly investigate this, even though, if honest we all know it happens. The left will not give up this fraud easily, they will cry racism and restriction until the salty tears turn to blood.
