Secessionists formally launch quest for California's independence

The first thing that'll happen after California secedes is northern California will secede from the rest of California and rejoin the U.S. It's all republican up there.

The second thing that will happen is Trump will watch as Putin invades California and makes it part of Russia. Russia really needs some warm weather territory.

One of those two statements above is true. Can you guess which?

I didn't say that Republicans weren't successful, I said that places which vote Republican aren't successful. And they aren't...

Sure LA is such a terrible place that it's the #1 county in the US in GDP and one of the premiere destinations for the super rich... Another destination being the #2 county in the US in terms of GDP being NY county NY.


Did you ever stop to wonder why places that vote Democratic are so much more productive? And why places that vote Republican are being overrun with meth and heroin?

It can't happen. No president would allow it. It's been tried before by a collection of states in the south and it failed.

A minority want it, and it's never going to happen... not without a civil war. California was originally annexed because of its extremely valuable agricultural lands. Granted, they have water shortages now due to mismanagement, but they still have some of the best farm land in the country. It has the largest economy in the U.S., contributing $2.5 trillion in gross revenue. Without CA, the U.S. dollar would be worthless.

The partisan hacks who laugh about libruls calling for succession and wishing they would leave obviously have zero understanding of economics, which is typical of modern conservatives.

You're right. The democrats are clearly the party for the well to do, the rich, the celebrities and the elite. The republicans are the party for the poor and forgotten working man.

Is that graph suppose to mean something? That's ridiculous anyway, it all depends on what industries are based there. You think it's that simple for you to just make a claim without any real sources. It ain't.

I would have thought the graphic to be obvious. The size of the square represents the GDP of the county. As for sources, it's right there. a study from the Brookings Institue with data from Moodys analytics. Lets just say there aren't a lot of liberals there. You're also free to check any of the counties on the list, it's all public information.

You really think if California exits, it'll stay that way? :lol: High taxes and overrun by the Mexicans, companies will vanish overnight. You better get your Democrat supermajorities in the legislature under control because they are your worst enemies. When you're no longer part of the US, things are going to change big league. :lol:

Calexit, a promise Trump never made; but he's the cause and should take credit for making America great again. I'll bet Mexico is dancing in the streets, thinking they're going to get California back. Here's my plan. We let them secede, then we recapture them with the military.....just like Abe Lincoln in the Civil War. Then we break them up into about four states (as punishment for leaving ;)), and the liberals lose elections forever. I think it'll work. :lol:

On the other hand, let them bolt, don't bother to recapture them, we stop sending them taxpayer money and the Democrats lose that big chunk of their voter base. Then we negotiate fair trade agreements with them...I mean, who else are they going to trade with? Asia?

2). YOU were cheer-leading succession as a good thing.

Lol, the fastest growing companies in the US are based in California.

And for the record I don't live in California.
 
Why do conservatives want the economic power house of the entire United States to leave the union?

Do you want your state to be rich and prosperous like lib'ral California, or poor and destitute like backwards red states?
