Rubio says he will vote for Tillerson after making a big negative to do about the nominee. I told my wife before his announcment that in the end, all of the Repubs and Rubio would vote for all of Trumps nominees. That is what Repubs do. None have a brain of their own and none want to risk the GOP taking away their campaign money. I have always said that the one difference as an independent I see between Repubs and Dems is that Repubs always vote party line no matter what or who their nominee for office. Dems will often cross party lines to vote for who they think is best or not vote at all if they think either is worthy of their vote. This is why Repubs are able to win many elections. This presidential election is proof of that.

Ummm, If anything you have this backwards, Democrats will follow each other off a cliff like liquored up lemmings. The proof of that is the 1000 seats nation wide they have lost.

Your impression is inaccurate.

Clinton was confirmed for Secretary of State in the full Senate by a roll call vote of 94–2.
John F. Kerry was confirmed by the Senate in a 94–3 vote to be Secretary of State.
Leon Panetta was confirmed by the Senate in a 100-0 vote for SecDef.

I could keep going, but I'll just provide you with some links to do the research you should have done before starting this thread:

And, so you can know which party was in control of which chamber of Congress:
Composition of Congress, by Political Party, 1855–2017

That means that the decision to vote for them was bipartisan, what does that prove. And look who they were voting for. None were like Tillerson or some of the others that Grump has named. Many of Ttumps choices did not even know what their roles were in the departments they were going to be head of. One didn't know he wasn't going to be the head of the atomic enegy commission. Thought he was going to be a lobiest for the oil companies.

The democratic establishment anointed Hillary Clinton and the democratic voters went along with the establishment and nominated the most unpopular democratic candidate in history.

The republican establishment didn't anoint anyone but they knew they didn't want Trump. The entire establishment fought tooth and nail to stop Trump. But yet the republican voters ignored the establishment and nominated him anyway.

This is why Repubs are able to win many elections. This presidential election is proof of that.

The republicans won because their voters didn't vote party line and instead nominated an outsider when the country was tired of insiders.
The democrats lost because they nominated the most insider of all insiders, a Clinton.

Well. except for that whole Tea Party thing where a substantial portion of the Reps. decided to vote their conscience and then the Dem. equivalent of the TP.... Wait... What was that?? There was no Dem. equivalent to the TP?? Really?? You mean the party of "Challenge authority", just followed along like good little puppy dogs and did whatever the DNC instructed them to do and voted in one big monolithic bloc??

Really. Democrats don't vote along party lines? What planet are you from? Can you provide a credible link, or, more likely, are you simply sharing your opinion?
