No more President "Elect" Trump

Let's try this.

Let's give Cheeto-man a chance.

And if, in a year or two, he turns out to be the **** up most people are betting he will be, then we will ALL meet back here and get on his case for it.

Seriously, the guy hasn't been sworn in for 24 hours yet. Let's give him a chance.

Quite reasonable. Plenty of time to draw and quarter him later if need be.

Did you approve of Hillary being booed today when she was introduced?

How about Sen. Schumer being heckled and jeered by trump's storm troopers ?

The irony of this thread is how I now think of Obama. I am a vet, and will always think of him as President Obama. I have a deep dislike for him, but I was programmed with enough respect for that office to where I will always think of each Commander in Chief as president. President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, and of course, President Reagan.

This is no surprise as you consistently display an authoritarian bent in your posts.

We did t hear this about Obama until after he was gone .

Did somebody say liquor store? I'll buy if you fly.

Happy weekend y'all. Enjoy the parade!

Busted! I knew there was some righty in you!

Depends on what you call righty...

In my mind, I AM the walking, talking definition of a conservative.... Old school style.

But the lines are blurred and the alt-right, IMO, has bastardized the definition of conservative.

I'm an Eisenhower/Republican, gun-totin', opening doors for lady's, yes sir, no ma'am, self responsibility, kind of guy.

Believing in living MY life MY way and letting others live their's as well, following the golden rule.. Thinking the government has better things to do than deal with gays and abortions or pot or religious agendas or all that other crap that ain't nobody else's business.

Thinking the governments duty was to do for the people only what the individual person could not do for themselves. Ie: defense, infrastructure, etc.

Back in my day, that WAS being a "righty." These days, however, I take offense when I'm called a righty. I no longer identify for what passes as "rightwing" anymore.

The only saving grace to a modern day rightwingnut is that they are not a tree-hugging lefty. I find them both to be rather shallow and boring.

But that's just me.

Have a nice weekend Ev.
