Trump, ever surly, pulled off the ultimate upset. Republicans enter this new era in control of the Executive Office, the Senate, and the House. Contentious rumblings continue to daunt the Inauguration. Do you expect Trump's popularity to improve by this time next year?

I care only if he is successful because this will be good for the nation. I'm sure you hope for his success too.

Yep, some even at 292 million to 1 odds. ;)

I went back and checked. Trump, the day before and the day of the election, came in at 3 to 1 (+300). I wonder if any of the regular DP posters risked and won at that rate? I doubt it. Instead, I suspect they chose to play it safe, then gleefully posted after the upset results came in.
