They don't have the financing. They will be out there for free with no legal help, no one recording ambushes, no professionally hand printed signs, etc.

Let them. If they want to look like idiots let them show what idiots they are for the world to see.

Well you brought it up that Cornell West had 'jumped ship' in your Post #16. Yes, he once really pushed Obama and Obama-ism, and now is critical of Obama. I was just explaining that his reason for doing so is not jumping ship at all.

But I agree that is veering well away from the O.P.
 
I'm not surprised if race relations suffered a bit during Obama's presidency.

When he assumed office there were legions of white people who ignorantly assumed that because there was finally a black president, that all race issues in our nation were solved. After that there was a collective white sigh as people everywhere figured that the legacy of centuries of racial oppression was gone.

Next came a stream of ignorant and sanctimonious insensitivity as filters disappeared virtually overnight. The burden of responsibility for any remaining social ills between the races was immediately shifted to inner city black people. People felt entitled to spew out the most ignorant racial views that they had kept buried for years. And naturally there was a backlash.

That backlash is regression... and regression has brought us the alt right and its hero Donald J. Trump.

Punctuation would really help you out if you'd use it once in awhile.

Obama didn't avoid it at all -- he very clearly showed which side he was on in every racial situation throughout his presidency -- Professor Gates, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, etc.

I hated diagramming sentences too and find it to be an ineffective way to teach kids to write sentences correctly. Therefore, your quote makes no sense.

There are always two sides to every story and at least two opinions to every topic. There were no sides in the Zimmerman trial? There were no sides in Ferguson? Did you sleep through the last 8 years?
