MMA fighters hit back at Meryl Streep

Looks like maybe she did a bunch of "artsy" type movies that are probably not very good but will get lots of awards. For example, I remember everyone raving about Brokeback Mountain and when I went to see it, it was actually not a good movie at all.

"High art" (whatever that means)? No. Actually entertaining? Yes, which is something that can't be said for most of those trash movies that people ooh and ah over as a form of virtue signalling.

Nothing worse than a self righteous liberal. She doesn't seem to be in anything but horribly pretentious movies. I don't know why she's getting this much attention.

What is your obsession with labeling people? I have not seen you make a single post that doesn't contain prattling about "lefties."

Righties say they hate it when hollywood folks speak out about politics... while at the same time being blind to the fact that they are the ones who elected the only two tv/hollywood personalities to the whitehouse.

More political correct censorship by right-wing snowflakes. Streep dared to have an opinion different than theirs so she's being boycotted by the intolerant right who only want an echo chamber to confirm their delicate beliefs.

What censorship?

Your post gives the appearance that as long as somebody is rallying for a lefty cause, you see no reason to look any further. There are plenty of reasons besides political partisanship why her comments were inappropriate, so dismissing these other reasons makes it appear that Meryl has your blessing to do inappropriate things as long as they are against your political opponent.

Chickens are farm animals, and they defecate right where they are standing. No shame. A dog will lick his testicles in a room full of people, no shame. People are supposed to be more civilized, and think about what they are about to do. The platform that your fellow lefty turned into a political one was not meant for that. Don't give her a free pass just because she is your fellow lefty.
