This is why we can't have nice things. I blame the stupid people.

Not only is the pink ***** hat uniform a bit...uh, silly. But, making matters worse, there is serious dissension within the ranks.

One divisive issue is what exactly gives white woman the right to speak for women of color---always a good ***** fight. Although why a march of a lot of women is somehow considered a white thing sort of beats me. But, the event was originally called the Million Woman March until black women bitched about that, saying the title was stolen from Martin Luther King (a known plagiarizer, I might add, btw).

Here, she can explain it, if you dare to go there.

Why I Do Not Support The Women's March on Washington — brittany t. oliver

Not only is the splintering affect of the Black/White thing stirring the pot which was made ugly enough already by the stupid hat thing, but but now we also have the "what exactly gives cis women the right to speak for all women" brigade chiming in on Twitter, a case of when **** meets ***** (but not in a good way). But, to be fair, the trans folks do bring up a damned good point.

So, I ask this. Why is this called a women's march and not a "people's march"?

I find the feminazi movement to be completely ridiculous from the onset. And yes most of it is driven by wealthy white women who think they are entitled to speak on behalf of all other disadvantaged groups.

For example look at Tilda Swinton taking the part of "Motoko Kusaragi (sic)" in the upcoming "GHOST IN THE SHELL" Film. Swinton dismissed Margaret Cho's very valid concerns that yet another White person is taking the role that should have gone to an Asian person. Swinton's retort was "hey at least it went to a woman". It's as if minority concerns are irrelevant to these feminazi.

And that's why the feminazi movement is definitely not about equal rights: it's about privileged White people demanding they get even more privilege and playing the victim card to get what they want.

...a demonstration that aims to bring a million women and feminists to the nation’s capital will formally protest his inauguration as commander-in-chief...

IMO there is no point to this "march," regardless of whether it's called a women's march or a people's march.

People who advocate this sort of action, pushing another public tantrum simply because they failed to get their SJW Progressive-Left way, are not representing civil rights or civil liberty at all.

IMO they are further demonstrating just how warped their understanding of those ideals has become.

Still..."Free Expression" I guess. :coffeepap

Objecting to fellow Americans marching is objecting to the very foundation of America .

Color me a white male who "does not get it." But, I seriously do not see why they would not make it an "Anyone who is Angry that Trump is President March."

If they want to make this a male/female issue, as they seem to by calling it a woman's march. Then I have no problem dismissing this with equal sexism in return.

The best part of all these women marching on Washington is how clean all the DC kitchens will be.

Well, when it starts looking like it will be more a joke than a march for....what are they marching for again?

Let's put it this way. Guys can go, but you have to wear that stupid pink ***** hat.

Crap like this is why morons like Trump win elections.

Jesus. All these people do is eat each other.

I see this as the best way to keep people involved in the election process for the mid-terms.

Wait until folks in the 30 states who voted for trump lose their health care.

Shouldn't they focus their protests against states who voted for him instead of DC? Just a thought.?

Yep. Exactly the point of the thread: the Left splintering itself out of power. It's like they never learn.

DC is good. Not having a plan and a solid coalition of anti-Trumpers not so much.

Just saw a clip of Bernie discussing how the DEMs will oppose the changes proposed by the corrupt GOP.

It involved marches and rallies and an anti-trump movement .

A couple good slogans like "Make America Sick Agian" will help. What won't help though is if Bernie Bros go to war with Pelosi Dems like they did Hillary. We'll see. But my money is on the Left not having learned a damned thing.

Bernie is leading the charge cohesively.

Being in the minority changes a party.

Like what the GOP did to Obama in Jan. 2009 .

We'll see. But, I'm not too sure the Bernie plan is the way to swing voters. Most people are not that far Left. If I had to choose between Bernie and Trump, I'd probably go with Don.

It looks more like a pig hat to me. Which is hilarious, given the stereotypes of feminazis being fat ugly man haters.

Whoever thought up those hats needs a different job.

Edit: Me, I want everyone telling me what is on their mind, it makes solving problems so much easier, it makes know who to hang with and who to avoid so much easier.
