Trump Tweets Begin WW3

Thanks B, I was wondering if there were any of you guys left.

I'm pissed about trump's Rahm/Chicago comments as well.

Does he really need to open his mouth and remove all doubt multiple times a day, ESPECIALLY as POTUS ?

Some of his tweets don't bother me. I just look at them like it's the 12 year old in him coming out. Then there are tweets like this one, that can have major consequences.

As a business owner, if he made a bad choice it could cost him a lot of money that he could replace with increased profits or by borrowing some cash.

As the POTUS, if he makes a bad choice like this tweet it could cost lives, impact the short and long term economic stability of the world, and he can't go to the bank to borrow people to replace those killed by war, and in this instance he's risking the mainland US, specifically the most populated state in the union, California, with all it's people, assets, business, resources, and all that could be vaporized by a nuclear attack. The DPRK is not a country to screw around with.

If the DPRK truly feels and believes that Trump will carry out his implied threat, then they have nothing to lose by striking the US first. I have no doubt that little Kim would launch all he has at the US in one last and glorious mentally deranged swan dive.

It's Trump. So yeah, he does.

Errday at 3 AM.

It's as if the election never ended with this guy. Just today he was once again rehashing his "mandate", so insecure of his popular vote loss. He'll never admit out loud how close the EC was in the 6 states he flipped.

I hate to use the term thin-skinned because so many others do. His own people and the GOP congress must be horrified at his daily twitter diatribe. I think trump believes this will control the press cycle but I may be giving him too much credit .

Trump takes a stand against a dangerous leader threatening us with nuclear capability and he is wrong? Please.

I hope Trump lets that nut know that nuclear threats will not be tolerated. Putin and Trump may be right about the need for some tactical nukes. These nuts need to know we have the capabilities to take them out without destroying the world. They need to know that it is no longer an assured mutual destruction situation but only a no win situation for them.

It's scary to know there's at least one leader on this planet that's light years ahead of trump on the mentally deranged scale.

I would have hoped that Pence/Priebus/Bannon could have quieted and redirected his Twitter.

Maybe his kids can step in and help.

McConnell/Ryan are too busy preparing legislation and hearings .

Really? He tweeted an implied threat to Kim Jong-Un and that sounds good by you, sounds like him standing up to a dangerous leader? On Twitter, fer cryin' out loud. In there with the teenagers and 'net cruisers.
Somebody better rein that guy in, apply some control since he doesn't have any of his own. He's a loose cannon.

North Korea just stated that it is in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the U.S. It won't happen!

look how many fools liked it!

Though I find his tweet stupid (though probably accurate) I don't see the drama in it comparing it to WW3. That really doesn't even make much sense. If NK tried to nuke us that wouldn't exactly start WW3. Regardless I don't want to get to far off track. The tweet is dumb, trump is pretty dumb in regards to stuff like this and his twitter account should be taken from him by his handlers, especially one in the WH but this doesn't inspire any special concern in me. It's more of the same.

I agree.

I think people have failed to understand that twitter is the way to reach the young today. They are not sitting by the radio waiting for FDR's fireside chat. Television changed the way people campaigned and talked to the people in its day. Every where you go you see people texting and tweeting. You want to talk to the people today you have to access what they are listening too. Open your eyes and take a look anywhere and you will know that twitter not the radio is what they are listening to. Text not the newspaper is what they are reading. Welcome to 21st century.

Soooo, whats wrong with it? Outside of your irrational hatred of all things Trump, that is.

There's nothing wrong with it. It's just another I-am-enraged-leftist-hear-me-roar thread.

The last time Trump ran for president, he said he'd try to negotiate with NK first, and if that doesn't work: Kaboom!

Yeahright. Kaboom!
War with North Korea? Nobody wins. For one thing, there's no nuclear threat from the US, Pyongyang being what, a hundred miles from Seoul?, but there is from North Korea. The oceans are bumper-to-bumper with delivery systems and a nuke in a shipping container in New York harbour is preferable to an ICBM anyway. Invasion of NK would be fairly pricey, my guess, so the threat the US faced in WWII Japan won't be solved from 30,000 feet over NK.

Nobody would allow Trump to shoot at North Korea anyway.

I would like to see North Korea attack us with nuclear weapons. Now that would be a sight to see!

Come on Kim, do it. It would seal your fate.

There's alot to go over here, but WW3 isn't one of them, not sure why that was the title of this thread.

The President Elect probably doesn't know much about North Korea or the situation in any detail anyway.

Rocket Technology is actually pretty difficult to get right and whether or not the North Koreans could design, create and manufacture a delivery system for a nuclear weapon at this time, that could effectively even reach Japan and hit what they were actually trying to hit is still up for debate, to say "It won't happen!" is pretty painfully ignorant however considering how far they've come with what they've got.

The fact is, we do believe that North Korea has nuclear weapons and it would appear, despite many missteps, that they are making progress with their missile program.

So Trump is once again, being a doofus.

Kellyanne Conway needs to remove the Twitter app from his phone. It's like the way you have to treat a kid abusing privileges. He needs to stop, for many reasons. Not the least among which is that this is behavior unbecoming to the POTUS-elect. Maybe Rex Tillerson can give him some lessons in how to be a real executive.

Kellyanne needs to install one of those parental apps on his phone.

We had to remove an app on my youngest kid's phone. And then block it. I think they need to treat Trump just as we treated our 16 year old who abused the privilege.

Someone needs to make this twit stop Tweeting.

If this is supposed to be what WW3 feels like, then it is lame as hell.

Most people don't know that WWII was actually fought by millions of people writing angry tweets to their local newspapers. An estimated 80 million people were trolled. It was tragic.

Never again.

Personally, I like the fact that he's reminding everyone on a daily basis what kind of person he is. Yes, it's petty and doesn't take into account the greater good of the country, but I never claimed to be especially mature.

If this is what leads to WWIII, I am curious as to what you would think Obama sending troops to the Russian border is.... or accusing Russia without any real evidence of hacking the democrat party, expelling diplomats, etc.

Or abstaining from the UN vote on Isreal......

I truly wonder which of these things would bring us closer to WWIII, tweets, or the above mentioned.
