Mr. Kanye West has declared he plans to run for President in 2020. Has our political system gone mad? Could you imagine Kim Kardashian as first lady? I know that politics has taken a wrong turn lately but this is too much. I don't say this to claim he has nothing to contribute, but one reality star is enough. Who knows, maybe he will run as a Republican? LOL - Opinions?

Is there any reason to believe he'd be less qualified for the job that this one or the next?

Not to mention that his credentials as a businessman will play better to a Republican audience. I bet Republicans would embrace him because of the possible opportunity of digging into the black vote, and they would have another guy in office that doesn't know much about how government operates.

Team Trump's win spoke volumes about the State of the Union. We have entered an era where the surreal has dovetailed with the twilight zone... abstract and obtuse today have become as normal and conventional as a Norman Rockwell classic depicted America in the 1950s. Shall you tarry or go boldly in our Brave New World? Each of us must decide. I say "No way Kanye". I do not want reconciling perceived idiots as POTUS as politics as usual.
 
I wonder what Kanye will do about the music industry if he wins since he hates them so much.
