Donald Trump Struggling to Secure Talent to Perform at Inauguration

Seriously, if Trump was for real, he would book these boys immediately.

 
I never watch such events. I'll be satisfied to know that the inauguration occurred. It's what happens after that which will most hold my interest.
 
I'll say this. If this band played the inauguration, it would send a clear message. "America is Back, Bitches!"

 
Seriously...since when has the presidential inauguration turned into an MTV award show? Who the hell cares what attention whore celebrity shows or doesn't show up?

For someone like me, Jackie Evancho, the Choir and the Rockettes would be much more enjoyable than one of your run-of-the-mill pop stars, hip-hop guys or a boy band or two. But that's just me.

If Trump really wanted something edgy, I'd recommend this wholesome, family entertainment group:

Shows Trump's true colors, IMO. If he was for real, he would have no trouble booking performers who are willing to play his gig. Problem is that he is trying to book pansies who do MTV award shows and not CMT, Southern Fried Rockers and Biker Bands. It's very telling.

I have to wonder if Trump really has enough game to accept the working class people. Begging Celine Dion and Elton John to perform for his gig is not a good sign. If he had stones, he'd call Disturbed.

Bizkit was good in the early 2000s, no idea since. I'd like to see the looks on the attendees faces if Calamity's other suggestions played. I say he should do it.

If I was Trump's PR man, I'd tell him to wear that red ball cap all the time and start listening to Limp Bizkut. And, whatever he does, do not sell those people out. If there is an upside with this, it's that he woke up a giant. Be a shame if he pissed it away by begging Elton John to perform at his inauguration. Dude needs to bring in some real jamm'n mofo's.

IMO there shouldn't be performers. This should be a serious and solemn event, not some kind of rock party. Hell, that's one of the very problems we have with our political system.

The thing is. Trump unleashed something in everyone. I'm sure there are a few commie types who are totally on board with his anti-establishment message.

It was actually quite an accomplishment, lighting that fire in so many different and opposite groups of people. No wonder he cannot quite figure out how to provide entertainment for the big party.
