DJT's Pick For Sec. Of The Army

No, that would be you denying the your lack of a valid point.

iLoL

So Trump's cabinet isn't full of Bankers and CEOs?

I didn't stutter.
You have no valid point.

iLoL

It takes a certain level of willful denial think his cabinet wasn't full of Bankers and CEOs.

You just quoted a comment I made regarding qualifications.

perhaps you are confused about the term "comment"?
Really? THAT was the extent of your comment on his qualifications? Are you being serious?

But what about them? What specific behavior?
Mindless partisans...start there. Those that are more infested...errrr....invested in maintaining their respective parties and status quo.

You seem to be missing the point each and every time and then inferring denial when none exists.
Pay attention this time.

You have no valid Point.

Just being a CEO in and of itself doesn't mean you can run things well. Or that you'll run a government position well. Furthermore, there could be some dubious conflicts of interest, such as the CEO Trump put up for Secretary of State.

Government doesn't behave like business, nor should it. We need both entities, and they are different by necessity. Being a CEO doesn't mean you cannot do the job well, but neither is it a metric of success in and of itself.

Are you purposely leaving out his military experience?

Do you know what a CEO does?

You seem to be missing the point each and every time. Cabinet is full of Bankers and CEOs.

Are you disputing that?

Do you know what a CEO does?

No, I've mentioned his military experience, Major right? But he is a Wall Street type CEO. Lots of people have been in the military, so many are at least as qualified as him. He did have "a key role in launching the 'Combating Terrorism Center' at West Point in 2002" as well. Being a CEO doesn't necessarily mean one can be a good bureaucrat, those are different skills. Though for Secretary of the Army, it's nice to be able to take a veteran because they've had some experience in the military. Though it's no guarantee for success.

Do you know what the Secretary of the Army does?

The overarching point is that people are talking about how much of a change we're going to have, how different things are going to be, and yet Trumps cabinet is stacked with Bankers and Corporate CEOs. And it's really been the entanglement of Big Corp and Government that has been mucking things up for some time. So this isn't really anything new, it's more overt, sure, but nothing really new. Banks and Corporations have long had the ear of government, it's just that now they get to run a bunch of its bureaucracies directly.

wrongly attributed to Mussulini (it actually was one of his cabinet members who also wrote some speeches for him)

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power"

Why is banker or CEO a bad thing? I seriously don't understand that. That is as foolish as complaining about former military being tapped.

This pool of people all seem to have leadership experience, experience in the marketplace, proven track records of success and accomplishment, and are willing to give up huge rewards in the private sector for a thankless government job that simply makes them public targets for scrutiny, derision, and condemnation of their success. And on top of that, they are willing to forego lucrative post-administration carriers as lobbyists. When you couple that with military experience it would seem to trump (pun intended) any career bureaucrat that has never made a payroll, never answered to the bottom line, or was never in harm's way in their service to their fellow citizens.

There is a reason Sun Tzu's Art of War is standard reading for both corporate and military. Isn't it a bonus to find people that have learned to apply those lessons in both the martial and civilian worlds?

You seem to be missing the point each and every time.

No That was you who are.

You have no valid point. That fact has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with your comment about Bankers and CEOs.
