Yep, I figured I would get gaslit. That's the new normal.

I fear that our nation is near a boiling point and that we could well be a Krystalnacht away from going off a cliff. And let's be clear, I would probably not have said such a thing under President McCain or President Romney. But under Trump, we will be one loose tweet, one loose comment away from God-only-knows-what happening.

I am so ****ing pissed that the elite failed so miserably that we got to this point of having a guy like Trump in the POTUS chair.

I sure do hope that they get their **** together sooner rather than later.

I am NOT optimistic.

There's an outside chance that we might actually have some common ground in here somewhere. Since the election I've watched a few videos of Bernie Sanders, and though I don't like his equating every single last issue out there to wealth and income inequality, he's raised some very good points. And oh yeah, his words, if applied, don't suggest just sitting on our asses while the rich elite **** the rest of us over.

Well, I'm certainly not going to dismiss the GOP refusing to give his SCOTUS appointment a hearing. And, the GOP has been blocking Obama's judicial appointments in the lower courts from Day-One.

They also obstructed ACA from the get-go, aiming to make it fail, when all those R governors refused the money to expand Medicaid. Add to that the GOP Senate filibuster of the infrastructure plan, known as the "Job's Bill." And, their blocking him from closing Gitmo....

You are kidding right? Surely, I do not need to go over all eight years where the GOP was basically nothing but a big PITA.

1) every Obama appointed judge in Ohio was seated.

2) why shouldn't the GOP oppose obama care when it didn't include a single GOP vote and the only reason why it "passed constitutional muster" was Roberts saying it was something that the Democrats claimed it wasn't

3) Obama tried to close Gitmo

GOP blocked over 60% of Obama's judicial appointments for almost a year. And, if you didn't notice we were in deep recession when they blocked the "Jobs Bill," which was a similar infrastructure plan that Trump will propose and the GOP will pass I am sure. So, don't play this "sounds like hard core leftist drivel to me" game with me.

BTW: Trump will end up keeping most of ACA as well. I bet you money on that.
