Bill Gates says Trump has the opportunity to be like JFK [W:102]

Re: Bill Gates says Trump has the opportunity to be like JFK

I knew people who didn't like Trump on the campaign trail at all but felt like he would probably be a better president than campaigner. I feel like so far that's happening. I like his cabinet picks and I like what people who have visited him in the past month have said about him, including Gates. One of my favorite compliments is from Jim Brown, the pro football great and black activist in the 60's who has lots of experience working with at risk inner city kids, who said "I fell in love with him". and I feel that so far, his picks are, with a few exceptions, horrendous.

Kennedy:
*Promoted the ambitious "New Frontier" domestic program promising federal funding for education, medical care for the elderly, economic aid to rural regions, and government intervention to halt the recession of the time.(Trump has not revealed a constructive plan to replace ACA.)
*Abolished the federal death penalty.(Wants to arm all citizens with guns--from what I heard.)
*Signed executive orders prohibiting racial discrimination and laid the groundwork for the Civil Rights Act of 1964.(President-Elect has trouble with recognizing Black Lives Matter.)
*Initiated Project Apollo as the first manned expedition to the moon.(Trump is going to have his hands full just building that big wall.)

And the way Trump talks and acts, he is going to be like Kennedy? OK.

It does seem like a stretch to compare the President who pushed hard for the creation of Medicare to the one who's likely to dismantle it.
