So if the Russians "hacked the election" . . .

There is noting to see here other than that maybe Putin wanted Trump, which might just mean that he wanted to help us get our heads out of our asses because he needs help running the world.

Him and the Chinese.

Now THAT'S some truly bizarre spin.

We dont care because their is zero information that voting machines were hacked. If the Russians did anything they provided us with information, and nobody can prove that they even did that.

Trusting the Chinese or Putin is a fools errand. Thought You would know that.

So you are all for a do-over then?

The point of that post blew right past you, didn't it? That's OK; there was a follow-up:

There's no evidence, of course, that any Russian "hacking" had any effect on the election at all.

But if it did -- if a campaign of propaganda, leaks, and disinformation affected the vote -- then Hillary's "historic" vote total, and "popular vote victory," is just as questionable and illegitimate.

Now THAT'S some truly bizarre spin.

I have been here for a year, you should know by now that I can think outside of the box.

That and that I am right more often than most.

You doubt that Trump will be sharing the world with Russia now? Putin has raised his status immensely by putting his puppet in the White house. Expect a systematic unraveling of our relations with any countries that oppose Russian aggression. Putin has a green light all the way to rebuilding the USSR.

No Trust is needed here I should think, we dont even know that the Russians did anything.

Never let it be sad that right-wing and left-wing lunacy can't overlap.

So you don't think the Russians have done anything against US interests EVER? The scary thing is that you are thinking like Trump.

Trump painted as someone puppet....now THAT'S FUNNY!

So, find out and put the issue to bed. Common Sense 101.

What evidence could there be that would satisfy you?

More than than what appears to be your threshold of "none."

You think I SHOULD want a do-over?

That is not justice, you cant just haul everyone you want into court to roll the dice trying to get them, you need to produce probable cause for that.

There is none here so far.

This is a Slime Trump operation by the looks of it.

Just present the evidence. If it's valid, and Harshaw denies it still, then that's on him.

The only evidence I've seen so far pertaining to this issue, is Russian trolls being hired on the internet.

And then there is that whole "innocent till proven guilty" thing.

So you support the investigations but think it is wrong to actually do so? Oky Doky.

No, my position is that Obama has already tasked the intel community to make another stab at figuring out what if anything the Russians did to try to influence this election, there is no cause for our largely incompetent Congress to do the same thing, and I have no interest in this subject till/unless someone finds a smoking gun at least. I think this is ANTI TRUMP PROPAGANDA which neither Trump nor I have any time for, nor should you I argue.

The only evidence which could possibly warrant a re-do of the election would be solid proof they hacked vote totals. There is none at all. The election was free, fair, and above board. People voted the way they voted.

Whatever chatter the Russians may have added to the miasma of campaign noise was no different from any domestic offerings of the same.

That's most likely the case. If there is any evidence out there to show that, I certainly haven't seen it.

Agreed.

And there is a large % of the electorate that get all their "news" from Facebook who were obviously influenced by the fake news those trolls spewed. The whole election was one big con game and the "marks" are about to face the music. The question is what will happen if in a year or 2 we have $4.00 gasoline again and another recession too. Will they still want Trump?

Ah, the intellectual dishonesty is rampant.

Take out the Russians. We don't need to discuss them here. Wikileaks published a bunch of information that was gained illegitimately, and that information meaningfully influenced the election.

Is the right really so unethical that they would happily embrace espionage and crime in order to win an election? The answer, based on this thread, is yes.
