America had internment camps for Japanese-Americans during WW2. Should we bring them back for Muslim Americans until the war on terror is won?
No. This is an extremely stupid idea.

The left is gauging public opinion using the false backdrop of islam to better understand the hurdles infront of them to accomplish their agendas of putting all of the right in internment camps..
Nothing justifies the government spying on Americans.
During WWII the US government spied on citizens who were aiding Nazi agents. Justifiably in my opinion. Later, during the Cold War against the Soviet Union they spied, again entirely justifiably, on agents of the KGB who had acquired US citizenship.
I hope US agencies are now actively spying on Islamic terrorists whether or not they are 'Americans'.
What nonsense. Judges have been signing search warrants authorizing phone taps by the FBI for quite a few decades now. FBI agents have also many times carried out surveillance of U.S. citizens where there was good reason to believe those persons were security risks. Actions of this kind have all along been completely justified and completely legal, and I am glad they continue to be done.

I know what the official title is, but that's all in a name. That is a military prison. Supposedly all imprisoned there are enemy "soldiers".

The idea is so preposterous it's not even worth discussion.
I'm out. Have a nice day all.
That is quite different from the kind of spying I am talking about and that our government has been guilty of recently. I am talking about illegal spying and expanding the powers of government organizations to allow them to do so because of the fear of terrorism or some other reason.
Yes, but it requires "probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation." Not "suspicion."
