When Someone Believes the Fake News

hell we have seen millions of people parroting the proven lie of 'Hands up Dont Shoot', we have seen riots over what was a proven lie, and we see more than a few posters on this site rush to comment on the all the bull**** spewed over the police shootings without knowing the facts. How anyone on the left feels comfortable making comments about 'fake news' is beyond me.

You're wrong. I wish you were right but you're wrong. Watch the youtube videos. There are thousands of people praising the gunman and urging that people murder the owner of the establishment.

I said PM me if you want the links and the proof. The offer stands and nobody has taken the time to PM me. So either ask me or research it yourself. I'm NOT talking about views on youtube, I'm talking about hundreds of websites including 4 chan and reddit which comprise hundreds of millions of users and participants. You're reducing my assertion to "views on youtube." What I ACTUALLY said was that there is video upon video on youtube (one of many forums for this garbage) about this issue with hundreds of thousands of thumbs up and thousands and thousands of comments urging people to kill the Clintons and the owner of the pizza establishment because they think they are sacrificing babies to Moloch based on a joke in a Podesta email. The Reddit groups were deleted but were enormous and they came out of the Donald Trump sub reddit. Sorry, but those are the facts. I don't want to believe that millions of Americans are that gullible, stupid, and violent. But they are.

"Hands up don't shoot" isn't a lie, it's a phrase. Or are you saying that all of those people should be shot for putting their hands up?

It's our biases that block our common sense sometimes. If something fits our bias, then we tend to automatically jump to the conclusion that it is true. Just a couple of days ago I had a facebook friend to tell me that he heard Obummer telling illegals that it was OK for them to vote. I asked him for proof of that, like a video clip or a transcript or something. Didn't hear back from him.

Hands up Dont Shoot was the lie that set Ferguson on fire. Rather than learn and respond to the truth, people rushed to believe Mike Browns lying little buddy and set their community on fire. Twice. News agencies ran the lie. Across the nation, people took to the street protesting over the lie. And when the lie was exposed, none of them had the integrity and decency to admit....ooops...we ****ed up...Darren Wilson was righteous and Mike Brown was a piece of ****. Instead they just ignored that revelation and intensified the promotion of the lie as if the revelations by the Obama JD had never happened.

You can be a Trump supporter and still be against fake news. It is possible. Being a Trump supporter does not mean you have to stop thinking for yourself.
