I honestly don't get the crying ... I've never gotten the sobbing at concerts or when you see a celebrity either, so. Yeah, Trump is an idiot -- we've had idiot presidents before. It's not the end of the world.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Trump but watching the celebrity losers melt down over this election was worth it. sort of like the Martians' heads at the end of "mars attacks"

Jesus Christ, Obama is nothing like Trump. Obama is an intelligent, responsible man with a good head on his shoulders. Whether you agree with him or not. Trump is a psycho who is categorically unfit to be president. The normalization of this guy ****ing astounds me. He is a very real threat to our republic. And not in the esoteric kind of way.

Obama initially showed some class. But subsequently not so much. If you really listen to what he says in recent speeches, he appears to be methodically and systematically trying to cut the legs out from under Trump. And in my book, that is despicable.

Agreed. I was a reluctant Trump supporter, I've always been somewhat hesitant about him and his character, but just seeing the reaction of all of these talking heads has made voting for Trump worth it. Seeing the political and media class collapse, most of whom have never stepped foot in Indiana or North Dakota or Wyoming or in any quiet town, who only know what life in Manhattan and in San Fran is like -- those same talking heads who try and tell us what to think, how to act, and what is and isn't moral -- seeing their collapse been genuinely satisfying.

I am cautiously optimistic that Trump is going to deliver on a lot of his promises, especially him appointing a quality textualist to the SCOTUS. At the very minimum, we can thank Trump for absolutely destroying the American media, whose unscrupulousness has never been more apparent...

you have to remember how dependent some groups are on the government and how the rights they cherish are court created. and a change in government suggests to them the end of those rights

I've just really failed to realize how hard the narrative painting has worked so well.
People are easy to trick into believing anything, just need a dash of plausibility and confirmation bias.
