"As Salon’s Brendan Gauthier reported, after firing Chris Christie and putting Mike Pence in charge, Trump’s transition team has dismissed virtually everyone they’d spent the last few months vetting and are starting from scratch. According to the Washington Post, from what we know about the inner workings of the Trump transition the best that can be said for it is that it’s completely chaotic and unorganized, a fact that has the current executive branch in a state of near-panic. Since most organizations reflect the temperament of the person at the top, the atmosphere reeks of acrimony, petulance and resentment."

Worst potential Trump pick of all? It might be anti-immigration guru Jeff Sessions as attorney general - Salon.com

Let the excuses and whining commence..

Wow. That thread title is TOTALLY misleading. I figured this would be a diatribe against the pathetic leftist ****s across the country out protesting election results because they didnt get their way. Or maybe about the thousands and thousands of pathetic little children needing cry zones and binkies on college campuses. Or the in-general liberal meltdown that has been going on for a week and a half. Huh...instead it is about a potential cabinet pick?

That's exactly what I thought this thread would be about--the jejune anger, petulance, and resentment of protesters, particularly the ones who didn't even vote.

As far as I know the only appointment that's been announced is Reince Priebus as Chief of Staff.

I'm aware that media outlets such as CNN and Salon, which are overtly hostile to Trump, have produced stories citing extreme dysfunction among his advisors. That, frankly, doesn't mean squat. It's kind of like Pepsi announcing that Coke is having internal troubles regarding the Pepsi Challenge.

You can't just look at the thread title. You also have to consider the author. There are a few users who, without regard to the title, will offer totally predictable content.

He has been the President Elect a whole week. I am not sure why everybody is freaking out that they don't know who will be undersecretary of fish and water things at the Department of Interior yet.

Yeah I thought it would be a dup thread about the Hillary blowup at her staff on election night.
But I was still going to give kudos to the OP for answering the wake-up call ... until I saw that everything in nature was still in it's proper place.

A lifelong practice of relentless political bitterness against things and people not like them?

If Liberalism continues this hate-campaign we will soon very well be looking at a Globalist v. Nationalist conflict borne out of civil unrest. This ideology must be fought against tooth-and-nail, even if it means supporting such a deplorable as President Trump.

Rather ironic considering the angry petulant response from leftists over every name being discussed.

People wanting the job or wanting the job of the people who get the job; people wanting a name to put with their free-floating hate--I am sure there are lots of reasons. He would be better off keeping all names under hat until after the EC meets on Dec 19th anyway.

Think I will give them more than a Week to get their house in order, good grief, save the whining for after they have actually taken power and do something. As for the appointments, look at this way, those people come and go throughout every administration, some work out some do not.
On the lighter side, has he picked out his new Director of the FBI yet? :lamo

Yeah.
It's so much better when they have a name and a face to focus the hate on.
Otherwise it's like Stewie said, they're like an unattended firehose.

While you may have found the title 'misleading', it actually wasn't.

Why are you so sad that it's not what you wish it were about and why can't you address the actual article?

Look at it this way...if you find out that the pilot on your plane is an ape, your thoughts wouldn't be "Hey Lets give the Monkey a chance. Maybe he gets lucky and learn how to fly the plane between now and take off!"

So some panic is required specially when you Put Someone Like Bannon as the Strategist in the white house. It is bad enough that is a well known Alt right and white supremacist talk show host, but he has advocated for tearing the current system down and burn-in everything kind of approach.

Here is how odd things are.... Glen Beck is panicking about Bannon! Glen Beck!!!!

So as the saying go.... This is a perfect time for panic!

I believe I have addressed the article by pointing out how pathetic people look losing their **** over every proposed name being discussed for a position in the President Trump administration. Now...you might want to consider why you are more interested in me than the content of the thread.

I'm actually more interested in the content of the article, which the threat is supposed to be about.

And, of course, people aren't necessarily "losing their **** over every proposed name being discussed for a position in the President Trump administration" Why pretend that they are? There are so real and valid objections to the people under consideration and they've been expressed in sober and reasonable terms.

President Obama is worried about this--the growth of nationalism, I mean.

Here is a list of when President Obama announced whom he selected for various position. Six were announced in November after the election, 18 in December of 2008 and the remaining five in January and February of 2009.

Obama took his time and got whom he wanted, I think we should let Trump do the same.

Looks to me that two things happened....

1)Trump never thought that he had a great shot of winning so he did not care much about Transition...I sure never hardly heard him talk about in on the trail.

2) Trump decided that Christie had to go, and I'll bet it had to do with him working for himself rather than for America.

1) Trump is a con artist. That's why there was no transition team, why they still have yet to contact any government agency to start that part of the transition, why he didn't call a single ally as is traditional, and why his transition 'team' is reality TV, not people actually working.

A con artist will continue the con until you get tired of being robbed.

2) Kushner.
